Good name Of the st Philomena college puttur. Karnataka 3 clean campus in this college. Education is good. Teaching Co-curricular and extracurricular activities are good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes, it was a good experience but I'm still studying. We have gone for the industrial tour. The facilities are too good as they provide a friendly environment and helps us in every aspect. And according to the situation, we are having online classes.

Due to pandemic, it's being hard to find internship and college is helping us a lot to find one.

All known brands like Amazon, Reliance Jio, Airtel, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Hdfc Bank, Icici Bank and many more companies. We do have an entrepreneur cell where MSME provides us with a lot of information.

College Events

We have a freshers party, Social, and a lot of fests. Management day, Holi, Saraswati Puja, Rabindra Jayanti, and other celebrations too. We also have cultural fest, Technical fest, Business bazigar and many more.

Campus Life

The college has its own gym, basketball ground, cricket ground, and many other games like football, volleyball, badminton, javelin throw, shot put, discus and many more. Sports day is organised every year in the month of February or March. The library is huge and everyone is allotted with some number of books according to their syllabus.

Hostel Facilities

No, I have not opted for the hostel as I live in the same city where my college is located. But as my friends are coming from outside, so there are a lot of pgs around the premises and even college hostel.

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
