Remarks

Out of all the colleges I applied for, UPES was the best college among the choices that i had. The placement record and reviews of UPES helped me make my choice. The counselling session cleared my doubts and helped me make my final decision.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was updated to the latest syllabus. We had industrial visits and internships. Faculties were good, HOD Aerospace dept. Dr. Sudhir Joshi. Professor Vijay kumar Patidar, Mr. Zozimus Dinesh Labana, etc.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 1200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I had my internship in Indian Airforce, BRD 7, New Delhi. There was no stipend for this internship. The internship was provided by the college itself.

Placement Experience

Several companies visites fir Aerospace department but the placements in computer science were far better than non it branches. Profiles offered were project manager, Business development executive, voice process, Human resources, research associate.

College Events

There were many technical fest in college where students presented there models. Cultural groups which conducted cultural fests, and college festivals like URJA. College festivals had a participation of 90% students with dj and music with buffets and dance parties.

Campus Life

There were sports facilites for football,cricket, Basketball, volleyball etc. It was a wifi campus. A complete 2 story building dedicated for Library. And about 30 labs for each and every subject. And a complete buildimg for Computer labs.

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

I choose this course because this college is semi government college in Haridwar . And fees are also not so high as compared to other private colleges . Real world applications are there as we have learn alot of knowledge in our first year about that like communication skills , public speaking , webinar and seminar etc. improvement is only needed in the good infrastructure and much more advanced technology should be there to deal with . The timings are of 3hrs in the semester exams and in the sessional it is of 1 hrs . Difficulty level is moderate .

in our college placement is good unless you have Backlogs,less then 75% attendence and the training fee if you dont join the the training fee then you are not allowed to join the placement interviews. those who dont get placement they try off campus for the placement but according to me employbility rate just 6-7 out of 10

UPES CSE Program provide the best insights!

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. UPES is top class!

I applied at GECET of Graphic Era and gave other entrances too. Apart from JEE, I cleared almost all and only one left was that. UPES has the best facilities!

Admission are through an entrance for engineering which is called UPESAT. The best thing is the paper can be given anytime as it's online and if students want they can directly come to the university and then give that exam.
