Anonymous's Review On Aditi Mahavidyalaya - [AMV], New Delhi

I wanted to pursue in Psychology and only few Delhi University college provides psychology as a discipline so i took this college. It’s faculty is good though infrastructure and locality is not good. But as i‘m not into Hons. because my percentage was low so i took psychology as a discipline.

My college’s faculty is good no doubt. Teachers are highly-educated and they are very experienced teachers. My course BA PROGRAMME ( PSYCHOLOGY + ECONOMICS ) is a good combo and it’s cut-off also goes very low. My college placement cell is not soo good. And also locality can be an issue. And Aditi Mahavidyala(stated in Bawana which is an industrial area) is a girls college so locality plus safety can be a major problem. There’s no travelling conveyance except DTC buses. Delhi University provides U-Special Buses only for Girls so if anyone comes in that route so they can take it but it provides service only in the morning.

The placement is not very okay. It is like ok ok but not that good. College dosen’t provide good placement offers and hardly any good company visits our college. Though i am not into placement and all but I heard from few seniors so i know a bit about placements.

Festivals, Fest’s which are celebrated are okay but not as good as other Delhi University Colleges. NCC and NSS departments are also okay. But the dance department and other departments are not good. They need good students to polish it and make it more quality departments. Campus life is okay but there’s a good thing that there is no bullying in the college.

Toilets are very bad. No cleanliness, no proper fans and in summer you’re gonna melt in the college. Library is okay for me and in front of college there’s an Private library so there’s not an issue for library. I’m not into sports but i think that is also okay. There are also projectors in some classes not all. Very few classes have them. Canteens menu is also not good. Canteen dosen't provide much items only few around 10-20 items but sometimes some are missing.
