Remarks

The canteen is small, but the food served is fine. The canteen works. There is a medical room, but it is not well-equipped. There are two grounds for sports and sports, and daily in the morning, teachers check students whether they are practising judo and other sports. But in our course, none of the students practices these things.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers here are really good and knowledgeable compared to other colleges. They do their job honestly are not like a way to just attend the class for namesake. Even they care about what we are gaining from the class. You get the opportunity to learn new things and also you can excel in sports if you want. I think geography (Honours) is the best course for competitive exams because it is really helpful.

College Events

Our college doesn't provide hostel facility, and the infrastructure is also not good. However, there is a good library and a moderate canteen as well. Sports facilities are good in our college, and there is also NCC through which we can opt for CDS exams. Our college has a medical room, a sports room and open gym for students. Every year our college organises a fest and various competitions which provide us with good exposure to different activities.

I feel like the curriculum is a little out dated and boring but due to a good faculty it makes the course more worthwhile The curriculum is very text based and less practical and more emphasis on bookish knowledge persists still .

Since I am from Arts deparemt, there were not much options and I did not sit in the placements I cannot say much about it here. Although there were seminars related to differents fellowship options such as Gandhi fellowship, Texah for India. Some people from my department got in them and they are doing fine as of now so yes there are option once your are in the campus you'll get to know about them.

I would say the placement opportunities are more available for science , commerce background students in the college there are rarely any placement opportunities for humanities background students . Mostly students starts engaging in placement in the fifth semester .severky companies visited campus every year including Deloitte , EY.TCS etc . Around 40 - 50 percent students from professional courses get the placement annually .even for the students not opting for placement the exposure n the strong alumni network of college help them secure good opportunities outside campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum for my course, economics hons. , I would say is very relevant to our day to day life. The curriculum set by the university doesn't focus only on indian economics but economies through out the world. The suggested books are also the top books used in many international top universities. The curriculum provides us with a lot of real world applications through various case studies. For exams the delhi university guidlines are followed and I would say now the exams are based on more of practical usage and how materials taught in class are applied in real life.

A Brief about Aditi Mahavidyalaya, DU for BSW Course

To be honest, i have applied to many other colleges as well as i wanted to do btech after my 12th but later on i changed my mind and explore other options. So then i got to know about this course BSW and the applying procedure was quite easy at my time, as when i got admission in this college there were not any such entrance exam or anything, they were just considering 12th percentage only.
