Remarks
It is a nice and reputed college. The placements are very good and the teacher student connection is nice. the campus is ragging free and the admission process was seamless and we had no issues. the fees is also pocket friendly.
Course Curriculum Overview
The teachers are quite helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable except for some. The teaching quality is pretty okay. The course curriculum is a bit out of date as compared to the industry requirements. MAKAUT is trying to improve the syllabus but it has not been too successful till now. One needs to do things outside the course curriculum too if he or she wants to ensure a proper career.
Placement Experience
About 70% of the students got placed with most of them getting multiple job offers. Where Rs. 80,000 per month was the highest package. The lowest package being Rs 20,000 per month. The average was around Rs. 35,000. The top recruiting companies for B.Tech CSE is Capgemini, Infosys, and CTS. About 30% of students got an offer for an internship from various companies. The top roles offered in my course is that of a software developer.
College Events
Events such as Elixer (held once in 3 years) Annual Language fest ( Panache) and tech fest (Techstorm) are held in the college. Various events are also organized throughout the year such as creative writing competition, business plan competition, teach quizzes, blood donation camps, and indoor game competitions.
