Remarks

I wanted to join a college which doesn't pressurize me to attend classes as I wanted to learn from the outside world. Thus, I joined Jai Hind college for BCom program as there is no pressure of attendance on students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The academics is outdated. Though, we are autonomous but the things taught in the college are worthless. The curriculum hasn't changed much from past 10 years. There are some good facilities at college which guide us and train us at different levels.

Placement Experience

Companies like Google, Deloitte, HCL, come to our campus every year and take in fresh undergraduates. They look at various skills which an individual has developed during the coarse of their college life.

College Events

I had never thought I will take part in college fests but once I took and I got the hang of it. The college fests brought a big change in my life and thus, I regret my decision of ignoring such an important thing before. They completely change the personality of the individual.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

There are no campus placements offered in my college. The placements after completinh the course are great About 80% of students are placed. The highest package offered/expected for bcom course at this college is 5 6 lpa, About 90% of the students get internships easily with this course at the position of bank accountants etc.

Placement Experience:

De Shaw, and Bain Capital are among the biggest companies and lighter companies are also many. Visa and all are also there which are rare otherwise. For b.com though 30-40k is what is offered but I feel it's fair enough.

Placement Experience:

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.
