Namri's Review On Satyawati College, New Delhi

I choosed this university because being from north east we get huge advantage of quota and easily get admission as compared to others. And Delhi is the capital with all the other facilities like proper education, several open mic oppurtunities etc which are important for over all personality development. This is a reason for me to choose Delhi University (DU).

Course, curriculum, academics and faculties are good at there place. We have one of the well qualified and well experienced teachers. One of my favourite and whom i feel the best is P.V. Dhaiya sir, he teaches Constitution Of India and is so good as well as frank that i love attending his classes.

Placement and job opportunity is not too great of college. As mostly only political science hons students are not hired by anyone easily, we have to atleast go for masters degree. If we talk about internship cell it's quite good in providing both unpaid or paid internship which help students in gaining work experience. Due to corona virus we could not even apply for internships.

Campus life is quite good and relaxing. Whole campus life is dependent on friends we make in the campus. We have several extracurricular activities conducted by different-different societies in college. We have fest in the month of march mostly where singers, dancers & dj are called for enjoyment of the students other than of college also. Everyone can take part in events in fest they just have to contact at email id provided or contact on the number given below in the posters. Posters are made viral by students of college on all social media accounts so that it can reach to mass.

Campus infrastructure of old building is not too good as there are several problems regarding the water cooler facility, wifi and proper light required for studying in class. But in new building recently finished has been made taking all these factors in mind and is well constructed. Size of library is quite good as it has capacity of almost 60 students at a time with all books as per requirements. We have a computer lab with almost 50 systems.

No we don't have hostel. I live in P.G. with my brothers which is about 2 km far from college. P.G rent is 10k per month exluding electricity bill. Food is a problem otherwise P.G is very good. The locality of P.G is also very good and has silent environment.
