Mudit Ladha's Review On Satyawati College, New Delhi

I choosed Delhi university (DU) because back in school we were told by our teachers that it's one of the best university in country and has a great certification weightage so this was one reason. The second reason were my seniors who persuaded me to joinin Delhi University and the change in personality. And truly speaking i personally notice a lot of changes in me, like no more stage fear or audience fear because of many open mics and event conduction, meeting and making good social network.

This year we had few changes in the course syllabus within few days of announcement of changes our college got the update and classes got started accordingly. The faculties we got are very good especially Dr.Durgesh Verma & Dr.P.V Dhaiya. Other than them we have Dr. Sapna who is very understanding and caring in nature. She is like mother, sister and a teacher as well as a friend who understands your concern and help you accordingly. They are the reason why i say i have the best faculty.

Don't have much information about internship cell although we have many companies coming and hiring students as intern either as paid or unpaid. Due to pandemic we shifted towards online procedure where main focus was the passing out batch. And several interns were also hired for unpaid as well as paid internship by different different companies.

Your campus life totally depends on the friend circle you have, number of activities you participate in, number of socities you join in and the relations you have with your peer group, teachers and other people in campus. I m from Political Science Department so i will tell about my department. First of all we have a freshers where juniors give their introduction and then we have a full day event in campus. On freshers we have functions like Talent show, Speech from the department head. This was the introduction of an event. As per time passes we have fest from January to March where well known or rising stars perform, we have guest lectures on different different topics and careers, talent hunt etc. Where students can take part according to their interest.

Talking about college infrastructure our college is quite up-to-date nowdays because of responsible student council. We have two libraries one for morning batch and one for evening batch. You can get all the courses book along with that several magazines and newspaper which are basic requirement of any library. Both the libraries have sitting place of 50 people each in the reading hall. And the libraries are well maintained and updated as per students demand of books. We have wifi facility and the speed of wifi is 2mbps. We have seperate wifi for teaching staff, office and students. We also have a computer lab with almost 50 systems.
