Remarks

Because it was the only option left in Nit Jalandhar I was being alloted Chemical branch. Here Electronics and Computer was a better option.So Had to choose this only, Otherwise Nit Jalandhar is a much better option had to come here As at 89/360 jee main score could get only Chemical in nitj.After Nitj the best option is Tiet

Course Curriculum Overview

The course scheme is very bad at Thapar. Subjects are not of equal credits.There should be no subject of 6 credits. Like Buggy lab evaluation is a complete waste of time and cgpa as it is of 6 credits it should be completely removed fromthe college All subjects must have equal Credits nothing lesser nothing more

Placement Experience

Placements of our branch are said to be good highest package of Electronics and Computer Engineering branch is 40 lakhs. Which was achived in 2019 by Rishabh Mehndiratta.

College Events

Events other than studies pressure were fine. The COS campus activities and TFF these events are a fun to watch. Virsa events and all are interesting.

after 3rd year or maybe in 6th semester many companies visited and very few visited both happens maintain your cgpa make your cgpa above 8 might be difficult but you might get adv highest or average doesnt matter then see how much package you getmaintain cgpa fill out the placement form also they charge 9000 in third year for your placement and dcpd trainign maybe - 50 percent placed well placement is poor after degree - internships job

Did some research and found that AI/Ml is quite popular around the globe and saw alot of future opportunity in this field. The msts were of 40 marks each with 60 mins to complete the exam and finals were of 60 marks with 3 hrs time limit. However student were allowed to leave the hall once half time is over.

I think from 5th or 6th semester students can able to eligible for placement. Don't know exact data about the company company coming but there is good placement rate. 1.3CR highest package this year branch chemical engineering. In my Branch ICE there is more than 95% placement rate.

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.
