Remarks

Bcom is considered to be as a very light subject and Jai Hind is considered to be as the most engaging college in the country. Thus, this combination was exactly what i needed. I choose this college because of the recognition and excellence of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Bcom is an easy course with respect to learning as well as preparing for exam. Hence, according to the basic structure of the course, our college has met up expectations which are pretty high. The faculties at college are supportive and understanding.

Placement Experience

I am a part of the college and the placements in any college play a very important role. We have a placement cell in our college which takes care of the students who wish to get placed. The teachers usually don't take in any efforts in getting students placed.

College Events

Being a bcom student, i have made the most use of my college life and experienced a lot from the college festivals. Bringing in trophy from another college at a fest, brings the pride of our college back.

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

There are no campus placements offered in my college. The placements after completinh the course are great About 80% of students are placed. The highest package offered/expected for bcom course at this college is 5 6 lpa, About 90% of the students get internships easily with this course at the position of bank accountants etc.

Placement Experience:

De Shaw, and Bain Capital are among the biggest companies and lighter companies are also many. Visa and all are also there which are rare otherwise. For b.com though 30-40k is what is offered but I feel it's fair enough.

Placement Experience:

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.
