Remarks

Yes, this is a great college indeed to gain experience and build in great networking, for finance students especially. The college is known for its variety of courses and curriculum in the Mumbai University.

Jai hind College has gained autonomy recently and hence our syllabus is up to date and has more practical topics which are relevant in the growing technical world. We have been given industrial exposure through various programs.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement is amazing, though the placement cell isn't much active but our seniors have been placed in amazing companies. There are companies like KPMG, Deloitte, EY etc. which have been to our campus.

College Events

Jai Hind has one of the most amazing festivals like Shoutt, Kani,Detour, Talaash, Cyberstrike and other finance competitions. There’s no single day when there isn’t something happening in the college.

We have a good infrastructure, the new building is handicapped friendly and the library has an amazing selection of books and we can also access the book online, due to space constraints we don’t have and grounds as such but otherwise the infrastructure is decent

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

There are no campus placements offered in my college. The placements after completinh the course are great About 80% of students are placed. The highest package offered/expected for bcom course at this college is 5 6 lpa, About 90% of the students get internships easily with this course at the position of bank accountants etc.

Placement Experience:

De Shaw, and Bain Capital are among the biggest companies and lighter companies are also many. Visa and all are also there which are rare otherwise. For b.com though 30-40k is what is offered but I feel it's fair enough.

Placement Experience:

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.
