Himanshu Kaushik's Review On Satyawati College, New Delhi

I chose this university because it's one of the well know and best ranked univeristy not only in India but also in Asia. This was a factor for me. And another big reason was the fee structure as it is Government run university so, it has affordable fees. The thing which i like about my college is the library because here we get all the books we ask for that to within the limited time which help us in enhancing our knowledge for course as well as the competitive exams. I opted for this course because of my interest in political science and i scored good in political science so i opted for hons in political science.

The course which i opted in good ofcourse and the faculty we have is one of the good faculty no because they are too intelligent or all but because of there friendly nature with students which is very important and the type of relation they make to comfort the student is really very appreciable. Taking about academics and curriculum there have been some changes made this year but there was not too much impact over the syllabus. Over all our college is quite up to date with the syllabus to be covered that to within time with every student doubt clarification.

Due to lockdown this year we didn't got internship oppurtunity this year as we were 1st year students.

The college placement is so-so type. The average salary is 5 lakhs per annum and the highest package was 8 lakhs per annum. For internship there are several companies coming who hire you for both paid or unpaid internship.

As is under graduation no body payes so much attention on studies, they focus more on extra curricular activities, taking parts in different different socities, events to enhance themself. Our college holds fest in month of march which usually has a crowd of 700-900 students. Like this year before lockdown we had fest in which we had almost 1050 students in our campus. And students can take part also in the fest by simply giving their names to the respective incharge the notice for same in placed on the notice board. After giving names there is a selection round and after you qualify that round you are selected as paricipant and can perform at our fest.

Taking of the campus infrastructure, it wasn't too good before the college election held in 2019. After wards few points like water facility, proper electricity supply was taken care of. Taking of sports facility we have volley-ball court, badminton court, cricket and football arena as well as we have court for kabaddi also. Size of library and computer lab is good with strength of 50-50 people in reading hall and computer lab at once.

No, we don't have hostel facility. Students studying here live in P.G who are not from delhi. The average rent for good P.G nearby is 11k per month, which includes your daily fooding and staying rent. Your electricity bill is excluded.
