Securing 1st in various sibjects in our college.which makes me feel proud and our proffessors also have proud for securing this.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course and college is very good and have a good infrastructure of engineering knowledge. in adra railway division we visit for summer internship last year.we have done also in bankura pwd division for training provided by our college for 30 days.

Class Size: 240Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Placement Experience

Fair, many of the other branches have doing internship also in various industry, for this our college has a great significance

College Events

Tech fest, freshers etc they have provide a lot of money and for the tech fest and various artist dj are coming in the college and various participating organization helps us. And so other program like teachers day earth day university establishment day held very much efficiently.

Feasible, our semester fee is 3000 and this amount is payable by demand draft or state bank of India collect mode, no additional fees of this, in some cases their has a transparency in the fee breakdown so as a government college its best, we are so proud to be a part of it

Female : male = 5:1 all the facilities provided by our campus like extra carricuoer activities.no politics in our college. Soo there are all the facilities in our college in sports labs and all the aminities.economic status of the college is very fair

Yes their has 70 rooms in our boys hostel campus.the hostel has a good atmosphere and has all the facilities of water and food for us.2 meals and an evening snacks provided for us. for a semester the fees is 11500.

Wbjee engineering entrance exam 2016 then after securing pass in the entrance exam and secure good rank we go to counseling and choice civil engineering in ramkrishna mahato government engineering college and then by provide my doccuments we are getting admission in this collge

5 professor average age 45 all have qualification p.hd in their civil engineering degree from iit kharagpur they all have various expertise in relevant stream like building materials and structural engineering, they all have industry experience like some of them has worked previously in tcs

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I applied in in the Government engineering colleges only and I cut conferred admission in this college. I choose this college over the others because I got the confirm admission in it. A brief overview of RKMGEC

The main reason students come to this college is because of the fact that fees are affordable and also this is purely government college. Admission process is quite easy you need all the necessary documents (Aadhar, Pan, etc) along with your WBJEE scorecard and rankcard. Other important fact to mention is that only students who are permanent resident of West Bengal can seek for admission. You need a domicile certificate for that....Read More

I applied for many other colleges like Jadavpur university, IEM but wasn't able to make ther with my rank and financial instability. I opted for RKMGEC because it offered a compeling mix of quality education,easy faculty and lowe tuition fees. The eligibility was based on west bengal joint entrance examination (WBJEE) scores with specific cutoffs which vary every year. I face rejection from a couple of other top tier colleges primarily due to high competition and slightly lower intense exams scores.
