PCMT - A way ahead in College Life

Courses are designed as per the norms set by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (known as WBUT - West Bengal University of Technology). Courses offered are B.Tech in CSE, ME, Civil, EEE & ECE. Apart from this they offer Management courses such as BBA, MBA, B. Ed. B.OPTM to name a few.

Internships or Placements totally depends on how much the college is allowing the Campussing. Although its very hard nowadays to get placed from colleges as most of the top notch companies hire from the Top notch colleges in India. Its always better to apply from various job portals such as Naukri for better packages.

Cultural activities are always a part of Pailan College of Management and Technology. Be it from Freshers Party to Saraswati Puja, PCMT also organises varous events and workshops. Just ti name a Few of them - Electro, Cypher & Robitics Race which was conducted in 2017.

Fee Structure is feasible as per the norms of set by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. Course fees are designed according to that. Apart from that they also add ?5000 to their Semester fees every time as a Special Facility fee although nothing special servises are provided by the college.

No. Did not opt for any kind of scholarship because I was not a good or meritorious studed that I would be getting a scholarship.

Campus Life is very enjoyable at PCMT especially in the Final year where hardly few classes takes place. There are 2 Computer Labs with 80 seater capacity along with a Games Hall. Also a seperate hall is present at the Management Building where Conferences takes place.

There are no such Alumini Network at PCMT. Althout the management is very active in terma of Social Media where all passed out students are also a part of the group.

Candidate who are willing to join this college must be a valid Rank holder in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (any field be it Medical or Engineering) Admission usually begins right after the WBJEE results are declared. Course Opted was : B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering

Excellent Faculty offering wide variety of courses and who already have been faculties in various well known colleges such as Jadavpur University, Shibpur IIES. Also a workshop is present for Civil & Mechanical engineering where various industrial machines are present to train the students. Apart from that 2 Computer Labs are present each offering 80seats.
