Course Curriculum Overview

3

The syllabus and structure of academics for the MBBS program that our Institute is following has been recommended by the Medical Council of India and it is a standard medical curriculum applicable in Medical Colleges nationwide. The various disciplines of the domain like Anatomy, Physiology, ENT, etc are covered holistically. Examinations are held at the end of each year however short exams, assignments, practicals are conducted regularly.

Placement Experience

3

Placement or jobs are something that you have to find fine on your own as a student post the completion of program. College doesn't provide much of a support in terms of placement and all. Moreover Medical Science is a domain where you learn things and then search for opportunities on your own. The college provides internship to the students were stipend is also granted monthly.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee of the college is very much affordable when you compared the fee with that of the medical colleges in the private sector. Academic fee in our colleges Rs 50,000. This makes the fee for the entire course duration to be 2.5 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

National scholarship portal run by the central government under the Ministry of HRD provides scholarship to meritorious and needy students on fulfillment of certain eligibility criterias. Apart from that the Chhattisgarh government also provides scholarship and financial assistance to student who are originally the residence of the state or have done 10+2 or equivalent from the state.

Campus Life

4

There is nothing much when you talk about extra-curricular activities on our campus apart from certain events and activities like workshop where we go for hands on medical skills learning and get an interaction with patients. Normal events like the annual fest, freshers party, Christmas eve, New year party etc are organised in the campus. The college has optimum facilities to offer when we talk about infrastructure. The laboratories are very well equipped with all the equipments and classroom have nice support in face off the digital learning platforms. The library has some good medical journals which are very helpful while preparing for the examinations. Overall facilities at offer are top notch.

Admission

Our college is a Government Medical College and it takes admission based on the score of NEET UG entrance examination only. I applied for the college through my NEET score and got the seat in the college in the fourth round of counselling. Once I got the seat allotted In the MBBS course offered by the college I was required to submit the fees and complete the document verification process within one or two days.

Faculty

3.5

After being taught from them for quite some time I can say that the teachers in our college are quite dedicated and experienced in regards to the task in hand. Understand the needs of the medical discipline and make sure that the younger generation that is we the students get to know each and everything with all the sophistication.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspect that influenced me is the externals and clinicals that made by decision to take this course because more than theory is the postings and clinicals which are neccessary to become a good doctor and also helps you to gain confidence. This is not just a curriculum but is a priority academics that prepares a student to save ones life which is far more important than just learning or reading. And yes it prepares us very well through clinicals and postings in addition to theory lectures or exams. As per my view, improvements in posting durations is very important than theory durations due to the priority. And yes teaching methods may get improve if some more fresh cadavers may get introduced in college every year. Exam are held in two phases, 3 terminals and 1 final. 3 terminals are held whole year with 3 to 4 months gap and finals at the end of the semester which is the final exam. Terminals exams are easy and quick whereas finals are tough and time consuming.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you're getting into MBBS, you have cleared neet and you have a slight idea of what you're getting yourself into. The subjects are tough, especially anatomy, because of the vastness of the subject. But if you're consistent and making lil efforts everyday, it's achievable without hampering the fun part of college life. Here are a few gem of resources that everyone uses for first year. Biochemistry - jambhulkar notes, Vasudevan/ satyanarayan book Lippincott for advanced studies Physiology - Sembulingam and Guyton. I swear by them. It doesn't get any simpler than this. Ganong for in depth studies Anatomy - Johari for exams Vishram Singh for easy to understand language and super simple diagrams Gray's anatomy for in depth understanding. Embryology - vishram Singh Histology - IB Singh Dissection - Cunningham or Mercy Navis There will be 2 terminal exams 1 pre University and then the final University. Don't rely on lectures to prepare you for this. You'll have to teach yoursel

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as it was my parents dream and during childhood my paediatrician also inspired me to become a DR. This college has good faculties. In a subject department there is 1 HOD( head of department), 1 assistant professor,1associate professor, 2-3 demonstrator and many management workers. They are very helpful. Also there are 60 students so it is very helpful for students to understand what professor says. There is good communication between students and professors overall I would say a good bonding is there. All faculties MBBS graduated though some have done PHD also but they have good teaching experiences to make a student understand everything. There are 2 internal exams which are average to pass and one University exam in which you have to pass to go to next year. You have to give a supplementary exam if you fail the University exam or the final exam.
