Remarks

Overall this is a good college for MBBS No major negative remarks from my side except for some minors 1. Library is not 24*7 2. No swimming pool or Gym. 3. Student elections are not allowed. 4. No major funding for cultural events.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

MBBS is one of the very professional course worldwide. You will become a doctor after this course, so obviously the exams will also be quite difficult to clear for some students. But if you are determined about study and want to be a good doctor. You can very easily clear the exams.

Placement Experience

2.5

Job placement is 100% sure in India. Our college provide 1 year of internship in Dr. BRAM hospital with a stipend of 10,000 INR per month. The experience you get is not good, as you are mainly doing paperwork during the internship, overall experience is bad if you want to learn clinical skill.

College Events

3.5

Annual fest celebrated in month of February. Ambedkar jayanti celebrated in memory of Dr. B R Ambedkar, Krishna Janmashtami with mud Holi. Holi in front of indoor stadium. New year in front of boys hostel, Sports event in TT hall. Ganesh chaturthi.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very feasible, 50,000 Rs for a year, compared with other Pvt. College where fee is in around 10-15 lakh, it is 10 times cheaper. You can also get scholarship if you are from ST, SC or other backward cast.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is scholarship from govt. For ST, SC OBC candidates not for general cast. For ST govt. gives around 58000 in a year more than the fee. For SC around 53000 and for OBC around 48000. You can apply for student loan if you are from general category.

Campus Life

4.5

There are separate labs of each department with good but old instruments although some departments have new and updated instruments. Sports and dance, singing, drama and all type of literature work, these are the vitals of our annual fest. Very good in my opinion.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel are very good with very low charges of 3500 INR for a year. There are 7 hostels in campus, 4 for boys and 3 for girls. And 2 hostels are outside of the campus for juniors. Environmental of hostel is very friendly, mess is good in boys hostel but very bad mess in girls hostel. Electricity and other charges are provided by college.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful in studies, and during other extracurricular activities. They always be there for the help of juniors. Network of doctors from same college is very strong, like a doctor of 90's from this college if knows that anyone from his college he always gives him priority.

Admission

After 12 by taking PCB in 12th you are eligible for NEET UG. After successfully clearing NEET UG exam according to the merit list you can get admission under MBBS course in this college. There are also reservation which can benefit backward cast.

Faculty

4

Starting from 1st year faculties are very good for anatomy, physiology and biochemistry. In second year as paraclinical subjects are there faculties for pharma and patho are good but for micro there is a gap, fmt is quite good. And for clinical subjects faculties are avg. In third and fourth year subjects. In community medicine there are some good teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspect that influenced me is the externals and clinicals that made by decision to take this course because more than theory is the postings and clinicals which are neccessary to become a good doctor and also helps you to gain confidence. This is not just a curriculum but is a priority academics that prepares a student to save ones life which is far more important than just learning or reading. And yes it prepares us very well through clinicals and postings in addition to theory lectures or exams. As per my view, improvements in posting durations is very important than theory durations due to the priority. And yes teaching methods may get improve if some more fresh cadavers may get introduced in college every year. Exam are held in two phases, 3 terminals and 1 final. 3 terminals are held whole year with 3 to 4 months gap and finals at the end of the semester which is the final exam. Terminals exams are easy and quick whereas finals are tough and time consuming.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you're getting into MBBS, you have cleared neet and you have a slight idea of what you're getting yourself into. The subjects are tough, especially anatomy, because of the vastness of the subject. But if you're consistent and making lil efforts everyday, it's achievable without hampering the fun part of college life. Here are a few gem of resources that everyone uses for first year. Biochemistry - jambhulkar notes, Vasudevan/ satyanarayan book Lippincott for advanced studies Physiology - Sembulingam and Guyton. I swear by them. It doesn't get any simpler than this. Ganong for in depth studies Anatomy - Johari for exams Vishram Singh for easy to understand language and super simple diagrams Gray's anatomy for in depth understanding. Embryology - vishram Singh Histology - IB Singh Dissection - Cunningham or Mercy Navis There will be 2 terminal exams 1 pre University and then the final University. Don't rely on lectures to prepare you for this. You'll have to teach yoursel
