Course Curriculum Overview

2

I think for me the medical science is for the society .Yes the money we all need but the main aspect is that we sacrifice ourself for society .yes my curriculum preparing good for the further exposure with the real world .I think the medical study would be more around the practical rather than fully focusing on book .one more improvement is that the frequency of exam there are lot of exam this create extra pressure on student .the academic load is more enough.

Internships Opportunities

2

Here the company not visit it is a medical college here the internship opportunity is actually provided by gov itself in form of service bond .so you don't have to think about the placement problem and all you will get placed by gov .

Placement Experience

3

Actually this is a medical college so after 4.4 year there is a essential internship for one year .so after completing the internship you have to go for rular services that is around 2 year .for that the gov will pay you around 100000 per month so yes it is decent and it increase as well .

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee is around 50000. In which 10000 is non govermental feel and applied for only first year .for upcoming year the yearly fee is around 40000.Expect this no other charges our college demand .This is common fee for all category .If you are from state quota then yes college provide scholarship opportunity for state quota student .That depend on the current year and gov .This fee is constant and does not increase yearly .

Campus Life

3

The annual festival celebrated here is nexus that is intercollege fest .other include Saraswati Puja independence day republic day all these .for first year student no availability of journal or library book .the class is well equipped with ac and smart board .overally experience was neutral to good not lies in very good category .

Admission

I have applied for pmch patna as well .But I opted this college because the on going construction work and the cultural aspect of the college .I didn't get reject from the past college actually I upgraded my college from Patna medical college to this .for admission is this college first you have to pass the neet examination with a decent rank.like around for OBC around 15k and for gen around 12k .

Faculty

3

The student to faculty ratio in my college is very balance it is around 30 student per faculty member .The faculty student relationship is not very good because they are not very friendly with the student .yes some of them are very good .I like praveen kurrey faculty of anatomy most because his teaching style is very decent the way he explain it is very easy to connect with the things around us .I am not very comfortable with prabha ma'am ( faculty of biochem ) Because she only read the slide and expect that we will ans all how it's possible for me she need to improve her teaching style .4 exam in a year 2 terminal then one pre university and then university .student fail in internal .But most of them pass in final exam .

Interview Experience

1

No no group discussion or any interview for admission .Admission is done by neet ug councelling process conducted by NMc .for that you have to register in mcc website then choice filling and according to that you will get the admission .

Night Life

2

Actually for first year student the problem is there is no hostel available so the student rent outside near the college so we have no nightlife inside the college campus .But yes we planned outside to enjoy the night life with our friend .we visit marine drive it is very peacefull and energetic place to enjoy .

Other Applied Colleges

Patna Medical College & Hospital - [PMCH] | Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

The main reason for not opted pmch is on going construction work and infrastructure level as well as culture of college .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspect that influenced me is the externals and clinicals that made by decision to take this course because more than theory is the postings and clinicals which are neccessary to become a good doctor and also helps you to gain confidence. This is not just a curriculum but is a priority academics that prepares a student to save ones life which is far more important than just learning or reading. And yes it prepares us very well through clinicals and postings in addition to theory lectures or exams. As per my view, improvements in posting durations is very important than theory durations due to the priority. And yes teaching methods may get improve if some more fresh cadavers may get introduced in college every year. Exam are held in two phases, 3 terminals and 1 final. 3 terminals are held whole year with 3 to 4 months gap and finals at the end of the semester which is the final exam. Terminals exams are easy and quick whereas finals are tough and time consuming.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you're getting into MBBS, you have cleared neet and you have a slight idea of what you're getting yourself into. The subjects are tough, especially anatomy, because of the vastness of the subject. But if you're consistent and making lil efforts everyday, it's achievable without hampering the fun part of college life. Here are a few gem of resources that everyone uses for first year. Biochemistry - jambhulkar notes, Vasudevan/ satyanarayan book Lippincott for advanced studies Physiology - Sembulingam and Guyton. I swear by them. It doesn't get any simpler than this. Ganong for in depth studies Anatomy - Johari for exams Vishram Singh for easy to understand language and super simple diagrams Gray's anatomy for in depth understanding. Embryology - vishram Singh Histology - IB Singh Dissection - Cunningham or Mercy Navis There will be 2 terminal exams 1 pre University and then the final University. Don't rely on lectures to prepare you for this. You'll have to teach yoursel
