- 24 hours open outer library, inner Library is closed at 12:00 AM and opened 9:30 AM
- Almost every department of Medicine and Surgery with Non Clinical and Para clinical department are available.
Dislikes
- Amenities like clean drinking water is not available everywhere in the campus
- The lecture hall is not repaired ASAP, 3 out of 4 Lecture hall doesn't have well functioning air conditioning
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is good teachers are good Post Graduates students also help us in topics during our clinical postings. Proff and teachers use digital medium with pictures and video on digital screens to teach us and make us understand better.
Internships Opportunities
The course comes with a compulsory rotary internship in every department with an income of 15900/month. The working time is usually 8hr daily with some time night duties in ICU Wards and labor rooms which is must.
Fees and Financial Aid
During admission you will have to pay 2 Demand Drafts on the name of Dean 40000(1st year tution fees) and 10000(refundable after course completion). Then every year around sept you'll have to pay next year tution fees of 40000 + 6040 (Non-Govt. Fees + Library Fees + Red Cross Fees) + 3500(if residing in hostel). The tuition fees of 40000 will be paid for next 3 years after admission and for 6 month course left will have to pay 20000 again with additional fees of 6040 + Hostel Fees. The eligible candidates of OBC SC ST of CG State get scholarship of around 60000 every academic session.
Campus Life
The campus also have a playground, a basketball court, a volleyball court, a badminton court and is also equipped with table tennis chess in indoor stadium. There are a total of 3 mess for boys and 2 mess for girls in hostel including PG mess where both boys and girls can enroll.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms at hostel are provided with well lit conditions with fan, bed, cupboard, a table and a chair. We also have common and separate bathroom and washroom access. There are total of 4 hostels each for PG and UG Boys and girls respectively.
Admission
This college is the heart of the Medical Facility of the State, it's the tertiary care center of the state, and patients are referred here from each corner of the State. It is located at the center of the city which enables students to get access to everything easily.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good but I would like to suggest the college for having a separate academic faculty randomising everyday or everyweek with clinical faculty to ensure proper teaching facilities specially for 4th year students as Proof get engaged at Operation Theatre which is not there fault ofcourse. There are total of 4 exams in an academic session 2 Terminal exams one Pre University Exam and the final University exam including Practical with all of them.
