Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is very hectic. It ought to be hectic in a medical college though. We have practicals, internals and main exams back to back and holidays provided are very less as its difficult to complete the course within time.

Placement Experience

Placement is not a proper word for medical students. Medical is a field where we create our own opportunities, if u can work hard,and you have a fare amount of working brain,you can always win the race. The college provides internship with monthly stipend around 10,000. Internship is very helpful for the junior doctors for their entrance exam preparation. They have to do some clinicals in internship.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is extremely affordable and feasible, I feel. It's very economical. The fees are Rs 50,000 per annum which makes it to Rs 250,000 on a total for a period of five years which is not very expensive.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is well balanced and strength of the class is also good. Frequently workshops, guest lectures by reputed doctors are also conducted giving us valuable information on various topics. Sports facilities are good.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls. Hostel rooms are good. All the basic services such as internet access, laundry etc are provided. The mess food is also okayish, cannot expect awesome food in the hostel but its eatable. Washrooms are clean and hostel fees are also pretty affordable.

Admission

The admission is done purely on the basis of your NEET score. A cutoff is declared after the NEET results are out. A merit list is taken out. Upto 3 merit lists are taken out on regular intervals of 2-3 days during the admission and counseling process.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is very dedicated and hardworking. They work day and night to provide notes to the students, give proper description of the basic concepts and also clear the doubts of the students. They are very helpful and cooperative

Navigating Medical School: A Comprehensive Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspect that influenced me is the externals and clinicals that made by decision to take this course because more than theory is the postings and clinicals which are neccessary to become a good doctor and also helps you to gain confidence. This is not just a curriculum but is a priority academics that prepares a student to save ones life which is far more important than just learning or reading. And yes it prepares us very well through clinicals and postings in addition to theory lectures or exams. As per my view, improvements in posting durations is very important than theory durations due to the priority. And yes teaching methods may get improve if some more fresh cadavers may get introduced in college every year. Exam are held in two phases, 3 terminals and 1 final. 3 terminals are held whole year with 3 to 4 months gap and finals at the end of the semester which is the final exam. Terminals exams are easy and quick whereas finals are tough and time consuming.

Time to ride Lakhiram govt medical College

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as it was my parents dream and during childhood my paediatrician also inspired me to become a DR. This college has good faculties. In a subject department there is 1 HOD( head of department), 1 assistant professor,1associate professor, 2-3 demonstrator and many management workers. They are very helpful. Also there are 60 students so it is very helpful for students to understand what professor says. There is good communication between students and professors overall I would say a good bonding is there. All faculties MBBS graduated though some have done PHD also but they have good teaching experiences to make a student understand everything.There are 2 internal exams which are average to pass and one University exam in which you have to pass to go to next year. You have to give a supplementary exam if you fail the University exam or the final exam.

Best Private Medical college and hospital in chhattisgarh

Remarks:

Best private medical college and hospital in Chhattisgarh. Provides good atmosphere to nurturing and growing minds. Out patient dept are full of patient every day. Students learn very well in well required libraries.

Overall this is a good college for MBBS No major negative remarks from my side except for some minors 1. Library is not 24*7 2. No swimming pool or Gym. 3. Student elections are not allowed. 4. No major funding for cultural events.

As per my ranking and category i have many options other than pt jnm raipur and cims bilaspur in Chhattisgarh but I choose GMC raigarh over GMC Jagdalpur and rajnandgaon because of various reasons 1st- location and patient load and then my comfort. Raigarh is a bigger city in comparison to jagdalpur and rajnandgaon and slightly nearer to me . And I already have some Freinds GMC raigarh before admission and it is more safe than GMC rajnandgaon and GMC Jagdalpur. Admission process is very simple and secure after allotment ,we should be ready with our documents for scrutiny in the college mentioned and get our documents varified along with required certificates and affirdavits. we have to clear NEET with marks required for selection which varies according to state , questions paper difficulty level , reservation category etc....Read More
