- As usual like every govt. Medical college fees is very less, with minimal hostel charges, great infrastructure,
- One of best college, no one can tell you that this college will be so great just by looking at it, some people will say colleges of big cities are great, but in your 5 year of life, This college will give you unbelievable memories and opportunity.
- Sitting at the slope of hill, the beautiful view, especially in monsoon when cloud reaches to the hill, you would not like to move.
Dislikes
- Being not in city gives a little out touch to citi life enjoyment, but you will learn to love nature.
- This is comparatively new college 11 years old and hospital is just 2 years old so yes there are some limitations, in number of resources.
- Limited staff hinders your work sometime. Faculty sometimes is not that supportive.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mbbs, from its name comes a tag of doctor. Looks fancy, but with this comes a great great responsibility, pressure and anxiety. Those who love studying and self learning, and can study for 10-11 years then only enter in this field other just the name of doctor won't help you. But yes if you dedicate your life to this. Its worth it.
Internships Opportunities
In campus attaches hospital, with great infrastructure as it is inaugurated just 2 years back fully air conditioned. You wouldn't feel a difference in private and govt hospital, working expierence is great, full of opportunity.
Placement Experience
There is rural posting via CGHS into rural areas for all students or pay a compensation of 25 lakh. Usually everyone opt for rural services , other than that there are jobs for doctor, but now having so many new college and no regulations over private colleges and foreign graduate filling everywhere, field is getting is bit saturated.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees changes every year according to duration of you studying year. Ranges from 45000- 60000 rs. Hostel fee -7000 . Various scholarship for sc/st students are their. Internship is best with arround 16000/month stipend. Direct posting in chhattisgarh health system for 2 years(it can be boon or ban) .
Campus Life
Infrastructure is great due to it's new buildings. Campus life is great awesome something that you won't regret and forget for the rest of your life, there may be no great fests Or celebs comming, but this thing will give you time to explore the nature arround.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel fee is minimal, with good facility, compared to other college hostels are much better, yes there is problem with the mess. Which has been since a decade. Rest all things are great only college where everyone gets a hostel, I think. Best place to make memories with moon ???? comming from in between the hills and you siiting on the roof with a guitar and a bunch of drunk friends.That thing definitely not going out of your brain, as it is not going from my brain.
Admission
Admission via NEET UG. From all india counselling arround 10k to 15 k rank From state quota it varies a lot according to your category. As chhattisgarh have very high reservation. But yes it's states rank is relatively very low than other states 20k to 30 k for general category.
Faculty
As I told you faculty to student ration when it was for 50 students only, that was good, but for 100 students ratio is not that good. Credentials is also a problem as good faculty would not be living in some peripheral colleges but this is wide view, some faculties are really great. Interaction is also good, rather much better than any other college.
