Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Very few Universities provide a degree in Sarod but this university has a dedicated bachelor's as well as Masters in Sarod. Thus, this attracted me to take up this course in this Uni. This course has motivated to take up music as a career.

Placement Experience

2

Placements are not that great. Most of the students opt to become professional or freelance artist. I cleared Net jrf thus I would like to pursue phd in music. If someone works hard they can make a great future in this field.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is very nominal as this is a state University. Tution fee increases slightly every year. Yearly it costed around including everything was ?17000- ?20000. Scholarships are given to obc, sc, and st students which fully covers the tution fees.

Campus Life

4.5

Overall it's okay. Gym, canteen, lib, hostels are good. Facilities are good as compared to other govt. Uni. Environment is happy and cooperative. Clean campus with greenery increases the aesthetic beauty of the Campus.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

4-5 people in one room in bachelor 1st and 2nd year. 2-3 people in one room in the consecutive years. Food is of extremely great quality and taste. Admission to the hostel can be done while getting admission in a course.

Admission

We should have completed 12th std. From any recognized institution. It would be good if we have any diploma in the subject we're taking admission into, though it is not compulsory. Application form and other details are easily available on the university's official website. Admission fee is half for chhatisgarh girls , sc and st. Yearly exam pattern is followed in the University. Exams are more focused on Practicals as this is a fine arts university. The serene ambiance of the University perfectly matches the vibe of the courses provided by the university. One gets to learn a lot from this place which will stay with him for lifetime. Our professors are great and one of the best faculty of teachers in India. Guru Shishya parampara is followed in our University. Overall I would give 9/10 for our University.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The bachelor of arts course provides you various subjects to choose to study for your profession such as history, geography, sociology, psychology, english literature, economics, etc. I believe you must prepare yourself for the challenges this world gives you. No one will ever help you at your lowest. I believe we should have classroom with air conditioning. We have exams every month and the course is usually of 4-5 months per semester. Completing 2 semesters means you exceeded onto the next year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is accurate and relevant. It is very intriguing even and a quiet interesting. Teaching methods of the faculty is easy going. There could be a little improvement made like making the lectures a bit more interesting so that students dont get bored after a while. The frequency of the exam are apt but during end sems the time gap between one exam and another could be more as mostly there is only one day gap during two exams and it sometimes gets hard to catch up.
