Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum is good, however, sometimes one may find the course to be slightly difficult, but the faculty makes up for it, as they're extremely capable of making students understand such concepts.

Internships Opportunities

4

Usually students in Arts and Humanities departments are given their own discretion in choosing for an internship, for example, the students of B.A. were given the opportunity to complete an internship in their Fifth semester, relating to teaching, office work, educational research, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester fees is starts around 2500 and is within 3850. 1st and 2nd semester fees are around 2600 and 2800, the 3rd and 4th semester fees are around the same margin and the fees for the 5th and 6th semester is 3500 and 3850 respectively. Admission fees is around 12,000 inclusive of other expenses such as sports fees, etc.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is good, there are frequent celebrations and are regular clubs for various activities. The library has a good collection of books and journals, which are accessible at all times, however the timing of the library is not much comfortable and would've been better if it was 24/7. The university offers sports as courses and as extracurricular activities and has many facilities which can be used.

Admission

Admission process is through CUET, both for UG and PG, the selection process is quite well. The factor or me to choose this university was it's proximity to my home town. Comparatively, the university provides with all of the services, it presents on it's website, however the quality of a few may degrade, yet it is good.

Faculty

5

Faculty of the English Department is highly skilled and approachable, they are friendly and really helpful. Interactions with them prove to be highly fruitful and influential. Regarding exams, there are two internal examinations per semester, out of which one is written and other is assignment-based, both of 15 marks each and a final semester of 70 marks at the end of the semester.

Night Life

2

Nightlife is an issue in the University, as hostels, especially the Girls Hostel close at 6pm and the Boys Hostel close at 9pm and are strict to their schedule. Night life is nearly non existent, however during some events, it is allowed to stay outside. The locality is quite safe. The cafeteria, gym and library close around 7-8pm, and accessing them at night is hard.
