The PhD coursework and submissions are very intense and take a lot of you. It is a very intensive program and you really have to push yourself to be able to complete it successfully. But the end result is extremely rewarding in nature.

There are a lot of opportunities to learn and grow more. This is more like a full time job, and most of the time will be spent doing lab work and such. Many offers came to me soon after completing my PhD thanks to the reputation of the organisation.

The Fee bifucation is as follows: Tuition fee of Rs.3,000/- per annum, Library fee of Rs.5,000/- per annum, Exit Examination Fee of Rs.10,000/-, Caution deposit (refundable) of Rs.20,000/- The total fees comes up to around 24,000 INR which might increase with the duration of your doctorate.

The extracurricular activities are encouraged an many different clubs and student unions are actively organising events and drives and so on. The male to female ratio is very healthy, and several festivals are also celebrated.

My admission for the Ph.D. research fellowship was done on the basis of NET/NEET qualifications. I had to create an account on their admission portal and submit all my details, along with all my documents. There was a direct interview followed by a departmental assessment. There is an application fee of 1000 INR.

The PhD guides and the professors at large are very helpful. They are qualified and experienced as the selection process is very stringent for the professor just as it is for the students. They are always willing to lend a ear to our doubts.
