Great experience

There are different courses available in the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences. There are PDCC courses under Abdominal Imaging, Blood Banking, Advanced Diagnostic and Clinical Microbiology, Apheresis Technology, Cellular Transplant Immunology, Clinical Nutrition, Epidemiology Viral Hepatitis and Liver Disease and in in Clinical Research in Liver Disease. These are courses available for 3 years. There are also courses available for 5 years.

The college do provide the students with placements & job opportunities. This helps the student to have a bright future once they leave the University. Students seeking to have a good career in their field of interest are greatly benefited through this. Internships and placements are done within the college premises. Interns are provided to students by the staff and faculty members of the college. Stipends are also given during this intern period.

The fee in the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences - [ILBS] is feasible. It is also very affordable to all students under different categories. Students who aim to obtain a good career are benefited from this. It is easy and possible for all students to pay it without any difficulty. Every student has to pay the fees on a year to year basis. The yearly payment of fees includes the fees for both the semesters.

The college offers many extracurricular activities like football, basketball, band group and many more. There is also a badminton court within the campus. Sports team also participate in many other college competitions. The ILBS Icon Oration gives an opportunity to interact with eminent people in various fields. We celebrate ILBS Foundation day, Hepatitis day, New Year and other such occasions as a family.

ILBS provides an excellent hostel facility. There are purifiers and coolers, washing machines, refrigerators and televisions available on each floor. Cleaning service, maintenance facility, pest control and fire safety devices for hostel rooms are also available. The canteen facility is available round the clock with variety of nutritious meals available in "Tripti" and Food Court area

The alumni forum was first started in 2018. In the alumni meet it was also decided to provide free online access of available e-journals and e-books to all the alumnae. Later part included felicitation of the alumnae followed by sharing of alumnae experience as well as interesting moments of their campus life with the audience. Alumni reunion came to an end with a short entertainment programme including fun games followed by dinner.

To get admission in the college application form should be filled up carefully by the applicant. All information given in the application form should be correct. Any false information or suppression of any factual information in the application would be a disqualification. Upon submitting the application form the candidates are called for the entrance exam conducted in the campus. On clearing the exam the candidates are asked to follow up with the admission procedures.

The ILBS maintains a well ordered faculty system. Each department has its own faculty members. Every subject under different specialisation has been handled by staffs who are well experienced in their field. The staff members are also very helpful to their students in every manner. Visiting faculty members are made available in the college to gain more knowledge from their experience.
