Remarks

The positive remarks for the faculty. Teaching there as they are so nice and well educated and they only said to not take private tuitions and they only helped us for any issues. Negative remarks for the useless canteen and the communication facilities as they are so bad.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have taken bsc in human development honours as one of the subject came under the home science category of calcutta university. We have 3 years and 6 semesters. Two semesters in the intervals of 6 months. This is the exam process.

Placement Experience

3

No. There are no direct placements were provided bt job opportunities are of a huge amount. We can Obtained in the areas of counselling, NGO, human resource management departments and many things. No internship is there.

College Events

4.5

There are many events we have heard about that will be celebrated like teacher's day, independence Day, sports day, rabindra jayanti, freshars party and many others. There is one big celebration that is zeal. Where we have to contribute a little amount as 250/- and we only have to organize it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

No the fees structure is really flexible and affordable for all as it's really very less the admission fees is taken and it continues for 6 months including monthly fees and all and the amount is sow less 1624/-

Fees and Financial Aid

No I don't know as I have came from an isc background so in my school no scholarship and all was not provided. But in this college many of my friends are telling about the KANYASHREE program as they will get 25000 money bt in my college didn't heard about anything.

Campus Life

4

The lab is for the students of nutrition and there is a music room, common room. And even kitchen and chemistry lab too. In the winter time badminton setup was arranged and the students give freedom to play.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are helpful and they are only guiding us for the events and functions taking place in our college. They only said about those events mentioned above and about the money too and the food packets they will be providing to all.

Admission

First I have to fillup online form and pay the money for the form. Then on a particular date my name occurred in the first merit list and my first target was this college as I love to study home science. Then I pay the admission fees and admitted in this college. Then they did a verification and passed in that also. Then I become a student of this college under Calcutta university.

Faculty

5

The faculties are so well educated. All have phd degrees and they are so well mannered. Very polite behavior and very helpful. They even said us to not take private tuitions. They only sort out our problems and give notes to us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum in this college is uoto date, very relevant and with at par with the real world scenario, we learn about disorders, different schools of psychology and a lot more. There is a perfect balance of practical and theory, which is needed in psychology. In terms of improvement, there is always room for it, as of now there arent any suggestions from my side. The frequency of exams are fine, they give us time to prepare however I feel like as, according to the NEP, the semesters should be 6 months long but here they are cutting it short.
