Remarks

They don’t co-operate with students. They just put there decisions on the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Yes they provide us a good knowledge of field. They teach us by doing practically. And course is about the vegetables, fruits and flowers so we have have to do it practically. So we grow lots of work in field. We even grow flowers and vegetables by ourselves.

Placement Experience

0.5

No placement available. And even no guidance is provided that what should we do after our graduation.

College Events

3

There are very less events in our college. But we celebrate the annual function, freshers party. And we celebrate cultural functions in the end of sports meet. They’re not really big. Only students or staffs are allowed to attend the functions. No outsider are allowed. And even no band or celebrities are invited.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It’s really expensive. I am in 2016 batch. And my fees is 55, 455 per semester and it’s extremely high for a government university. And even they have increased there fees every year. Not the fees for the 2019batch is 82,555. Some students can provide the fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes i opted for education loan. Firstly i go to the office and tell them about it. After that they give me an application in which the whole detail of our fees was written along with the Account details of College. And then I submitted the application in the bank. And they directly transferred the fees in the college account.

Campus Life

4

Girl ratio is high as compare to boys. And there’re no such parties. Only cultural events of annual functions are celebrated. And yes the orientation about sexual, religious or economic status. No one in the campus really do the discrimination.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes i have opted for hostel. And rooms are in sharing for 3. We got hostel ph the bases of our OGPA. Hostel rooms are ordinary. But there is always shortage of water. Hostel seats are very few so other girls stay in pgs or private hostels.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes some of them are really helpful. They were really good to us. They help us in proving notes and completing our assignments or surveys.

Admission

I got admission in self financed seat. In this the students got there seats according to there marks in 12th. There is not entrance exam. The application form for self finance seat is separate. Higher the marks more Good will be the course. If you got the good marks then you’ll be getting Seat in Horticulture or is your marks are less then you will get your seat in forestry. The merit always go to 80% above.

Faculty

3.5

Some are really good. And some don’t even bother to come to class. Some have even came to class for like 1-2 times. They don’t even provide us notes. They tell us to make our notes on our own. They don’t even help us at all. And some are really good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. The exams are conducted per semester and the difficulty level of exams is average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as my father had studied the same course and had the same profession that I'm aiming for. For improvements i would like to recommend more practicals rather than theory classes as, practical knowledge is just as important as theoretical knowledge. The frequency of exams is a problem. There is very less gap between examinations which makes it difficult to prepare for the vast subjects. Plus, the marking is strict, and the criteria to pass the exams are also complicated.

The course curriculum is good overally but also kind of too much for a student to cover as you got 10-12 courses in a semester to study. The frequency and timing of the exams should be adjusted so that students may got appropriate time to prepare for them
