UPES review

This a very decent college located in the foothill of Himalayas. The environment of the college is very calm and perfect to study. College have various collaboration with many students facilitate to provide their students the best. As the fees of the college is very high students should take his/her decision by comparing the other similar rating college to have a better understanding.

Course structure of SCS, UPES is ver good as it has many specialization. Its course is structured by IBM. Exams and labs are not that hectic but still they are exams. Cariculum is decent. The course material have specialized subjects from the very first semester.

Placements at the School of Computer Science is very good. Almost all the students willinyto have campus placement got placed. Yes they also provide internships to the students but only to third year students. I think they should have to do such thing from first year.

Uurja is the biggest Fest of the university where the university used to have big bands and singers performances and have bog crowd. Many technical fest like Prodigy and UHackathon and Yugmak entertained students very well. There is a weakly event named Wow Wednesday which took place every Wednesday.

Most expensive. The fee structure of this university is very high. Since last two year they have the fees of B. tech Cse aroud 20, 00, 000 Which seems to be unaffordable for any middle class family. Although university provides very convenient education loaning facility.

Yes they have good loaning facility as they have tieup with many big banks like SBI and OBC. they provide education loans very conveniently. As per the merit list student get scholarship too. But it is very rare. Girl students have a fixed 25% scholarship for whole tution fees.

University have various cultural society and there is no problem with the gender. This university have no such issues and it is a very good and peace campus. College used to organise Various cultural fest, workshops and seminars with ghe running students chapters.

Yes they are very helpful. If you have direcylg contact with them it is most plus point for you as they will play a great reference for you in any company. But if you don't have one then the college is as also creates a great connection with their alumni so that a better connection with the industries all across the nation.

I got the admission through Jee mains gateway. There are total three gateway to get admission in UPES, Dehradun. 1. UPESAT, entrance exam 2. JEE MAINS gateway merit 3. BOARD EXAM merit I have choosen B. tech cse with specialization in Open source and open standards.

Faculty is qualified but there are some bad too. They don't know the way of teaching. Mostly faculties are profeesional to students and well trained and have great knowledge about the feild that they are teaching.
