Remarks

Positives: A healthy hassle free environment without any kind of ragging related issues. One of the safest colleges for Womens. Frequent placement drives from various of companies all over India. Leaves you with adequate knowledge about the subject with acceptable academics. Negatives: Not suitable if you want to enjoy the college life along with academics. Fee structure is not feasible for lower class people if appointed through management.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course syllabus is good comparing with other universities. Semester wise exams are there. Among the 6 semesters, first two were very late. But now exams are conducting timely. Lab facilities were not much excellent but satisfactory.

Placement Experience

2

Only commerce based courses are provided with placements. In the case of psychology, chances for job are only after post graduation. Our college do not provide internships in our subject. In the case of commerce subjects, they are provided with good faculties and their chance for placements are high.

College Events

2

Arts, sports, union day, college day are celebrated every year. Apart from this, management day is conducted by commerce department called 'revaloysius' which is one of the well known commerce fest in south india. Association day is conducted by each department every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure for management students (direct admission) = 1, 00, 000 per annum (not feasible for low class families) For Counseling students (Merit) = 50, 000 per annum (feasible) The fee structure will be feasible for upper middle class and high class people but if you belong to a lower class family then you must have adequate cutoff Marks to get placed through counseling process.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provides a number of scholarships especially for backward castes. Postmetric scholarship is given to a good number of students. Scholarships are also given to single child students. Scholarships based on marks are not provided.

Campus Life

3

The Gender ratio will be almost 150:100 for boys and girls. The workshops conducted are very less in numbers and a cultural fest will be conducted every year. The Students are not selected or appointed into the college on religion basis. Lab sessions are quite frequent as atleast twice a week. The students who are studying under management quota are mostly well financed families and those studying through anna university Counseling are mostly from poor or middle class background.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel facility is provided by college only for girls. Rooms are shared. There are 4, 6, 8 and 10 shared rooms. Food is average. Infrastruture is good near a very quiet paddy field. Fee structure is 3900 per month.

Alumni/Alumna

I do not have much knowledge about the alumni of the college. Functions are conducted rarely for the alumni association. But I think the alumni of the college is not much strong as that of in other similar colleges.

Admission

I wanted to study B.Sc computer science in an reputed institution but unfortunately I didn't get the chance. So I decided to take up Civil engineering. Then I got admitted to this college through Anna university Counseling process.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of our course is pretty good. But the number of faculties are very small. Although they are experienced and have wide knowledge in the subject, sometimes due to heavy load they seem to be stressed.

Reviewed on Nov 18, 2025(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
