Course Curriculum Overview

1

I joined this college knowing that only undergraduation is not enough to achieve my goals. Even though I expected more guidance and opportunities will provide on the behalf of the college which is essential for students like us to improve our knowledge and experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

First of all the fee here more than enough for the facilities provide from the college. None of the faculties take complaints or issues much seriously. They are not even providing enough guidance regarding the career on the subjects we took. They are not providing any internship opportunities or any placements. Even in our department, only 2 of the teachers are actually active and supportive to us among the 3 teachers. We have been paying almost 20k for each semester for nothing more than less opportunities and classes providing. Not very impressed with the college faculties, who's not even standing for the students when they are in requirement.

Campus Life

2

Don't have very good campus experience here. The friends i made here is pretty good and that's the only reason the decide to stood here There is no entertainment programs are conducted here. I've only attended 3,4 program in the course of 3 years since I joined

Admission

I got accepted to the St Joseph's University in Bangalore for bsc chemistry after the interview but my parents didn't allowed me to join there as I'm their only child. They refused this at that time because of their attachment to me regardless about the reputation of that university. Then I got accepted here in merit and I joined here.

Faculty

2

Students don't have a favourable relationship with the faculties here. Only few among them are really good and stand in favor students and college equally. I really don't appreciate the work of our hod. He's not attentive to most of our periods and very irresponsible. The internals are taken in time , but they inform us mostly 2,3 days before it's going to get started.

Interview Experience

1

No they dont have any interview or exam criteria for the admission here. You just have to submit the documents here if you're got accepted to here. That's it. It's pretty easy to get in here and to complete the course

Night Life

1

There is no night life here. It's quite boring that there's no enough room for much entertainment in this college. There no gym here. The canteen is okay okay. The library is not bad but not that good too

Other Applied Colleges

St Joseph's University | Bsc chemistry with environmental science

Parents didn't allow me even after I got admission

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
