It is a technical course and the exam pattern is semester wise. Labs are very effective.the college is affiliated by uttarakhand technical university. Each semester consist of minimum 5 subjects. The structure was same in all colleges affiliated with UTU. According to the specialization.

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is very bad. Since the college is between the mountains so companies don't come here for the placements. The internship was also self organised by the students. The college didn't arranged any type of internship.

Workshops are organised by the college. Also fresher's and farewell is also celebrated in the college. Sports fest is also organised everything year and an annual cultural fest is also organised by the college b

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. The college fees is feasible much lower than many colleges. Since it is a government college therefore the dress structure is very low and no extra charges were demanded by the college. The fees can be submitted in two installments

Hostel Facilities

Yes i opted for the hostel facility. The hostel is clean and the infrastructure is also good but a bit old and because of the mountains there is a problem of water facility. The food was good and hygenic.

Admission

Through college entrance exam. The entrance exam was conducted by the college itself. Its was conducted within the college. After passing the test an interview took place and the documents were verified.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is very good almost all of them are doctorate. The teaching method is also good with good communication skills and they are polite and very helpful. Also there is attitude in the teachers because of their government jobs.

IIRS Dehradun, A Synopsis

Remarks:

For the higher studies in Remote Sensing & GIS, IIRS (ISRO) is the best institute in India. The personal preference would be Masters over the Diploma course since the Masters programme includes a 14 month project towards the end of the course, in which the researcher gets to work under the guidance of experienced scientists from ISRO. A drawback of the course would be that the syllabus is demanding and the exams are tightly scheduled.

Glimpse of 125 year old Technical Institute of India

Remarks:

As my previous experience was in Bridge Engineering , so on the basis of that IIT ROORKEE is best among others ,as it offers a course named as Masters in Structural Engineering with diversification in Bridge Engineering , which makes to choose this Institute specifically over others.Admission took place though multiple doors :- First is through GATE Score without any GD or PI or both Second one is through Sponsored Category like of mine Third one is through Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) For more information on admission you may refer to IIT ROORKEE PG Admission latest Information Brochure.I think it is not a Bad aspect of institute , but Institute must do certain reforms in it's admission process as till now IITR took admission directly on the basis of GATE SCORE for M.Tech / MURP courses which , but I will suggest that in future IIT ROORKEE must took admission for the same programme through GATE Score as well as GD or PI or Both , result of which it increase the opportunities of many relatively lower GATE scores candidates to took dream of doing their Masters from reputed IIT ROORKEE For Dates Tentatively application started from the month of April every year Last date to submit the application - last of April Results announced through COAP portal ( you need to separately register yourself on COAP portal to participate in the counselling process of all IIT's) in multiple rounds along with some Additional round & spot round I don't search or see any forum or websites or blog while selecting this college because in my previous company I made many visits to IIT ROORKEE by which I came to know many more about it automatically .

Remarks:

There are tons of extracurricular activities present here. From sports to arts, everything is here. There's nothing only for boys or girls, every event is equally arranged for active participation of all students. And I feel negativity about the study hrs which is almost 10 hrs.

Remarks:

why to choose this college

And counseling is done by Uttarakhand Technical University, after that you go to the allotted college and get your admission done. The admission process was very nice and in an organized manner .The admission on the basis of jee mains examination that we gave and for different course the eligibility is also different the application form is available in mechanical engineering department and application process and fee submission process also held there and the application date is around 28 September 2022.
