Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum of our BSc Physics course is very good. We learnt the course with very good classes and syllabus, well maintained and taught by our faculty. This 3 year course is divided in 6 semester, we have equal importance for theory and practical. We have practical exams also, we have regular practical classes which are good.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement and job opportunities are very less for our department. We have more opportunities when we have masters degree. College should bring more placement opportunities for Physics department. Internships are not given by college, we can get from our self in few research labs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for our course is very flexible and is very minimum which can be paid by anyone. For Bsc the course fee is approximately 3400 rupees. For second and third year it will be around 3000 rupees per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana scholarships is provided by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. I got scholarship when i enrolled in the 1st year of BSc and eligibility was having secured a minimum of 60%marks in aggregate in science subjecs in Class 12th Board Exam. I was given a monthly stipend of rupees5000 and annual contingency grant of rupees 20000.

Campus Life

4

There are many extra-curricular activities held in our college. Many social, research and other events are also organised. We have many clubs such as science club, energy and environment club, health club, gym, music club, research, kalakendras etc.

Admission

I got admission in Bachelor of Science in physics from this college in direct admission. I applied in this course from online application and later was called for document verification and after that I was given admission. A candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, chemistry and either biology or maths.

Faculty

4

We have a total number of 4 faculties in our department. Our faculty are very well educated, all have good teaching background. They are good in both teaching as well as in teaching practicals. They are very supportive to us, our faculty help us in guiding for future steps. They guide us to concentrate on education and solve our problems.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
