Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The college project helped me a lot to interact with other persons and it created a leadership quality within me by voluntarily guiding my team. And i was an NSS volunteer it also helped me a lot in my character building.

Fees and Financial Aid

Any scholarship is actually not available. A quality education is providing there. But the current management is not supporting any extra curricular activities including sport day, college day, youth festival etc. The fee structure varies between courses. For science stream it is about 23000 due to the lab. And for art subject the yearly fees is about 15000. Courses provided : 1. BA economics 2. BA English 3. BCom 4. BSc chemistry 5. BSc zoology 6. BSc physics 7.BVoc software development 8.Bvoc tourism 9.Bba logistics 10. MA economics 11. MSc chemistry The chemistry lab is very equipped and the college also provides the facility for research in chemistry. College has a vast ground. It is an environmental friendly college

Campus Life

0.5

My college didn't support any kinda extra carricular activities there. There is not a youth festival, sports day etc they make it for a few hours. At the time of my final year the sports competitions was held after the class that is after 3:30 pm for 2 hours.

Admission

I got admission in this college via single window allotment prosses in the basis of marks obtained in 12th. As this was the college near to my hose i applied for this and i got the seat. There is not an entrance exam in this college you can took admission directly on the basis of plus two marks

Faculty

2.5

There are a set of very friendly and understanding faculties. Every student is binded to a faculty for mentorship program. I like all the faculties who teach me there. The only one I dislike is smt.sindhu s nair she is the current principal and she treats every students very badly. It is very difficult to get the approval for something from her after my course she didn't even given me the attested copy that says I'd studied there. She is very rude to every one and such a lady didn't deserve th seat of principal. The exams are semester wise there will be a total of 6 semesters and each semester include 5-6 papers. About 70% of the students clear the exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course not because of curriculum. The syllabus is very bad and it doesn't really help to apply in real-world situations.I suggest that the practical exposure must be needed and give chances for students to apply in internships. The timing of exam actually stressed alot in even semesters due to shortage in classes. The faculty rushes to take class and also gives a load of work when the exam is near.

Our syllabus and curriculum was easy to moderate in the first year. And in the final year it changes to moderate to difficult. More of the questions are direct questions and some questions related to organic chemistry is in application level.

? I chose chemistry because of the versatility of thge subject. ? There are differet branches of chemistry I can get into. ? We are given a good lab and research opportunities for encountering them in the outside world. ? The exams are well timed, and they are easy to tackle if we are prepared well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good in my opinion because it makes one apt or the future. Be it an industry level job or higher studies, the curriculum is sufficient to survive in those environments. Various subjects provide various insights about the working environment and the practical laboraroties make a good job in equipping the hardwares to students. More ICT techniques needed to be used for teaching and presenting seminars. And the exams needs to be regular considering the comfort of students.

The placement of our collage are better as our collage has less student which gives a relax mindset to the mamangnment that not many people are left to place. In our collage gurls get placed in first year itself as the act of SYNERGY girls recruitment. For boys as well. Many good companies enroll in this collage.
