MHT-CET Marks 119. Before the CAP session, it was quite clear from the reviews given by my relatives that the college. I was about to opt for was undoubtedly one of the reputed engineering institutes of Mumbai and joining this institute would make me a good engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It is the same as a good engineering college would have. We have well equipped laboratories which focus mainly on research. The syllabus is based on the Mumbai university pattern. VESIT has a huge library where you can find a lot of reference books.

Placement Experience

4

Placements in VESIT are above average. Accenture, Capgemini & L&T are the major recruiters. Dream companies like JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley choose 2-3 students every year with an annual 7-8 lac. Around 80% of the students get placed in fair companies.

College Events

3

We have technical event PRAXIS which is held at the start of a new academic year. Praxis consist of numerous technical games ,quizzes etc. Vesit conducts two cultural events i.e. illusion and utsav. There is a sport event Sphurti which consist of both indoor and outdoor games. Apart from these, VESIT has technical societies like IEEE, CSI which conduct various events throughout the year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of vesit is pretty expensive being a private college. Its fee is around Rs.1,09,000 for General Category students. Its low for students belonging to various caste categories. There is a Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) for students that are meritorious or economically backward.

Fees and Financial Aid

The TFWS scheme provides fee compensations to meritorious students. There are a lot of scholarship schemes for EBC students.

Campus Life

4

The campus life of VESIT is quite nerdy and not very happening. Lot of students manage to score well in exams. The participation in extra curricular activities is not up to the mark. The gender ratio may be around 2:3. There are fresher parties are good. There is no such thing such as ragging nor there is any sort of discrimination i have experienced in college yet.

Exam Structure

Vesit conducts two unit tests every semesters. The average marks of these tests is taken. These unit tests cover around 80% of the syllabus from the text books. There are question banks provided for some subjects while for the others you have to study the
