LIT Review

Very good college, doing their best but because of it is affiliated to RTMNU there are many missmanagements but overall good experience and college is trying to get autonomy status as soon as possible.

The Course Curriculum is set by Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University(RTMNU) and it satisfies all the requirements of All India Council of Technical Education(AICTE). Exam pattern is Credit Based System and there is Semester Pattern having total 8 semester and also the Exam is conducted by RTMNU.

Yes. The placement record is 100% for Chemical Engineering branch and other Chemical Technology branch its almost near about 70-80%. Also college provide internship after 6th Semester in various chemical industries and its record is 100% also the stipend is based on the industry project given to the candidates.

Fee structure is very feasible as it is a government funded Institute and a University Department of RTMNU. The annual fee is around 28000 and for 4 year course its approximately 28000X4= 120000 for Open Category and OBC category 50% concession and for SC/NT category 70% concession is given by government. But the overall fee is very less as compare to other colleges.

Scholarship is given to only reserved category students by the Maharashtra Government. There is no loan facility offered by the College if anyone wants to opt for loan then he/she has to consult to the respective banks and perform all the formal procedures to apply for it.

as it is a B.Tech degree its focus on practical knowledge and so that the labs are well furnished and equipments are also is pretty good condition. As the college infrastructure is built in 1942 so the some of the labs are in moderate condition. There is one large playground in the premises of the college where various sports like Cricket, football, Volleyball can be played.

Alumni Network is very strong they are very helpful in various college problems. Also they solve many college problems financially by doing whatever they can. Also because of Alumni connection LIT has very big value in Chemical industry.

The admission is given through Centralize Admission Process(CAP) conducted by Common Entrance Test(CET) Cell by Board Technical Education, Maharashtra. Interested Candidate have to give CET and on this Exam score the candidate gets the admission. I gave the CET exam and applied for LIT and on the basis of my Merit i got the admission through CAP.

Good and Experienced Faculty. About 90% core faculty is having B.Tech degree with PhD. Also they have industrial Experience and handle situation very great and support students in every aspect. But still there are some vacancies in faculty but college management is trying to fullfill that ASAP.
