College review

College management is pretty good they are always helpful.

Exam is bifurcated into( in semester ),(mid semester)and end semester ones.mostly it is application based and help students to apply the learning outcomes.I would say it's a fair one.These exams keep students engaged all thouroughout the semester and hence we are being assessed almost on a daily basis.

The placements are quite good many big companies come here to offer jobs to tech wizards and especially the comp wizards.but yes the other department students also get a good package due to best training provide to them.our college has made the last semester compulsory as an semester long internship one as students are given marks on the basis of their performance in the company.and it's compulsory for everyone to attend it.

1)Marathon 2)annual techno cultural fest oculus 3)tech race and sports events4) women's week 5) workshops and trainings6) traditional and cultural days. So to begin with our very own annual techno cultural fest oculus it's fun event where there's a good mixture of technical and cultural stuff.there are event like ipl auction.codatron.capture the flag.carnival hogathon.workshops and much more.the college takes a good initiative in organizing various activities which keeps students active.

The fees is quite expensive but still it's feasible. The college follows the Maharashtra state cell's guidelines for securing admission in the college.there are no hidden charges,and the college didn't take any such donations and the admission is based strictly on merit of MHTCET and JEE MAINS.the college provides transparency in providing the fees breakdown.

Scholarships as such are not given for undergrad students here.but yes we have to pay the fees as in using our mom and dad's savings.

Campus is quite big but very small to explore.girls are less in number atleast in comps class.labs are quite excellent and many international and national competitions keep on happening the college has got many comiittes which help students take part in extra co curricular activities.some of them are ECELL IEEE CSI and even our techno cultural fest the "oculus comitte".

SPIT doesn't provide a hostel for it's students but yes it's under construction and in coming years students can avail the facility.I stay in Mumbai sub Urban region and hence haven't opted for hostel but the other candidates have opted for pg which costs them around (10000-25000) depending on the area of the of and the members staying in pg.

Seniors are very helpful.help us in clearing out doubts and provide us the best help as much they can do for us.

Admission was thourough mhcet exam which is held in the month of May.I had keen interest in computers and programming hence I opted for this courses.the admission process begings in the month of June/July and cap rounds ie 3 rounds plus additional institute level rounds take place.in which you can accordingly choose your college.

Faculty is good and takes iniative and interest in teaching students.we have theory and practicals daily and they are assessed on those daily basis and performance.our most of the professors have their Masters and PhD degree in their field and hence accordingly they train the students.they have good knowledge and quite a good teaching experience.
