Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum in b.com(h) is finance oriented. A few elective exams were also there in each semester and were on a optional basis to students. Exams are conducted on a semester basis. Consisting of total of 6 semesters and each semester having 5-6 exams.
Placement Experience
Placement cell of hansraj college has been quite effective. Many good companies used to approach our college for both placement and internships. A few times some workshops were conducted known by name of pre placement session to help us get insight into the companies and working profile.
College Events
DU fest is very popular among the youth. Likewise, Confluence, annual fest of hansraj college is very popular since a long time. Many renowned celebrities like Shahourukh Khan, Diljit dosanjh, honey Singh, akshay kumar have visited the college during my college time. Also department fest have been organised for each course stream. Also, a freshers and a farewell party have been organised.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees of DU colleges is not too much. Approximately, 20k per year has been paid to the college apart from purchasing books etc. No additional charges need to be paid to get admission to the college and there is huge transparency in the system. No hidden Charges whatsoever.
Fees and Financial Aid
No such facility have been provided by our college. As the best of my knowledge, hansraj doesn't offer any loan or scholarship.
Campus Life
Campus life was just amazing. The vibe that our college gave was so good and better as compared to some other renowned college of DU. A good gender ratio has been maintained in our college. Many Extracurricular activities have been organised from time to time in the college.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes alumni network has been strong in our college. They've been quite supporting at initial times over LinkedIn.
Admission
Admission process is quite simple. Basically we've to apply for admission to du course wise. Once the cutoff lists of college are available on their website, we can apply to the particular College we meet the cutoff requirements for and in case in next cutoff list we meet eligibility for some other college we wish to join, we can withdraw our admission from first college and get admitted in the second one.
Faculty
Faculty of b.com was quite good mostly. Apart from a very few teachers, all others were very good and knew their lectures well and were also prepared. Good emphasis was given by all of them to provide deep understanding of the topic they were to teach.
