Course Curriculum Overview

The exam structure has been changed in Calcutta University it has been made semester wise and multiple choice question have been given in exam there will be negative marking.it's quite easy and tough too depending on the subject the accounts part is whole theory

Placement Experience

Though I have not completed my graduation yet this is my last semester but I have seen many companies like wipro,indigo,delottie,power Waterhouse corporation, and many more companies with good package will come.

College Events

College fest that is Srijan which is very famous in Calcutta as celebrities visit in our college.teachers day celebration isquite good.quiz competition happens and many more events there are so many I cannot list it down here.but every event is awesome

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive as compared to other colleges but because our college is one of the best college in Calcutta University so it does not demand much according toh college name there are many colleges which demand higher than our college even if the infrastructure is not good so likewise it is both feasible and expensive

Noo I have not opted for any schlorship yet.n college also does not provide anything like this no education loan no schlorship as per my concern

Campus Life

Campus Life is awsome, they are friendly teachers, no gender discrimination.there are have been conducted many debates either in our college or they visit some other college for the events are debates.the lab in charge is also good they will help you whenever you need them

Hostel Facilities

The college does not provide hostel I mean the college is not having any hostel facility you have to remain either in pent guest are where you need.the college only have a park and library no hostel facility they have provided

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

They are helpful they like act as your elder sisters supportive, enthusiastic smart intelligent they will help you

Admission will be given on the basis of percentage you have scored in 12exam.according toh your marks you will get selected the maximum criteria to get selected in Shikshayatan college is scoring 80%marks in your 12marks.and good marks in accounts and maths

Faculty

The faculty is good.helpful they will help you whenever you need them they are very supportive the teachers, didi's, office incharge everyone is quite good they will keep you updated regarding any things.u can discuss with them any type of problem you are facing

Teachers behaviour and their way of teaching
Classrooms are well maintained with air conditioned
Canteen foods are really good tastes and at average price

Dislikes

College union and few seniors are there..
Office staff they are a bit casual approach
There are many books in the library but year wise books takes time to set on the library

You will be eligible for placement from The 7 semister or the 8th one.. Many msme complanies are linked to this college. Flipkart are one of the best company who hired new recruits from this college. I visited Ardent Computer Msme companies... As an Internship And it's one of the most outstanding company A standard percentage will help you to carry on.. My plan is to give the CAT exam and pursue for MBA

Course Curriculum Overview:

This cource future is a unique opportunity. All the teachers of our college are very friendly with students. You can share your problems at any time, and they always try to solve problems. All the teachers have a very strong background in their studies and they are well-experienced in teaching. In the classroom, they are providing a projector by which we can remember the topic for a long time. They are also providing very good quality notes so that you can score better in exams. This is a 3 year course. There are 6 semesters in one. It is difficult to pass if you do not study well.

It is my great pleasure to write for this prestigious College. Budge Budge College was established on 10th December’ 1971. Initially the college was located in a different location with few classrooms. Later it was shifted to its present position. This College was lucky to have the famous writer late Narayan Ganguly as its Founder President of the Governing Body and the founder principal was late Prof. Prithwis Dutta. The college has played its role since all these years for the development of education in the suburbs of Kolkata. The township of Budge Budge itself has its own significance in the field of culture and freedom movement of India. The College is located in the vicinity of Budge Budge Railway Station and occupies an important position in the locality. Hence to serve the students in the larger area has been possible for the College. Day by day this College has created its own aura and significance in spreading education in West Bengal particularly to the middle class & lower middle class families. Students of this College come from all spheres of society. We have large numbers of female students to take care of. Affialted to North Bengal University the education is good here. Even though being a government College there is no political activities. The college is free from strikes. The teachers are well qualified. The fees is relatively very less.

When canteen closed, the city opened up.
