Remarks

There are many positive things about my college which includes good infrastructure, good faculties, facilities which includes canteen, prayer hall for both men and women, toilet, washouroom, water cooler. The only negative remark is our seniors. Which gives us bad experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

This is a 3 year course with 6 semesters, 2 in each year. We will learn the basic things in 1 year. We are now at the 2nd semester. We mainly have 5 subjects - C, Mathematics, Statistics, Language, English. C is our main subject. We have lab work and record work in each even semesters (2, 4, 6).

Placement Experience

3

There are many placements for the students from there. Many companies such as wipro, syska, etc came there and select the best skilled students and give them the job for that. My college doesn't provide internship.

College Events

4.5

My college have well developed infrastructure and facilities for the students. Also we celebrate many festivals including management fest, inter collegiate edu fest, food fest, onam fest, exhibitions, expo, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for my course is very cheap or feasible. For admission we need to pay ?19100 (includes 1st semester fee). And for each of other semester we need to pay ?11000. Also we need to pay ?900 for the exam fee in each semester. Overall the fee structure is feasible for every one.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college provide a decent amount as the scholarship for each students who score 60% above, also for poor students who can't afford the fee. The main scholarship given by my college is egrantz scholarship which provide ?4500 in each year to everyone who registers for that.

Campus Life

4.5

As a student of computer science, we have well equiped computer lab which helps in our overall academic performance. Our college also conducts many activities such as stage or off stage activities, which makes the students to show off their talent. Also there is sports too, which is scheduled in a good way.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel is well equiped with good rooms and canteen facility. In a room 4 students can sleep. I clearly don't know about the rate of hostel because i don't need to stay in hostel. I live nearby my college which is not far away.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors are good but the same time they are bad. They are bad mainly because of ragging us. But some are friendly and helps us to solve many problems faced by us during the academic year. Sometimes they ask money from us to get their needs done.

Admission

I got admission in this college with merit rank list in which 40 students will be selected among the registered students. I choose this course because am mostly interested in this course. I used to live with technology and computer subjects, its like my passion and its in my blood.

Faculty

4

In my experience, the teaching faculties are extra ordinary. They are appointed there with high qualifications. The way they teach makes us more interested in the subjects they teach. They help in each and every situation and help to reach our goal with ease.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
