Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum and syllabus is not challenging and can be cleared if you are attentive in the class. Curriculum is relevant and make us learn and prepare for real world apart from textbook knowledge we get hands on training and practical for the same. Difficulty level of exams may vary student to student but overall speaking it is not very complexed

Class Size: 27Course Fees: INR 26000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fee structure for the course biotechnology is 13000 that is to be paid per semester. During the admission process you are supposed to pay a total amount of 21000 for merit seat and for management quota your supposed to 55000 rupees. Scholarships are also available

Campus Life

The campus is quite small and does not have much hanging out spots within the campus but there are known places near to college. College conducts varies informative seminars and programmes frequently. College day, fine arts, food fests, ethnic day, union day, etc are some of the fests conducted grandly. Sports activities are seen less here. Various clubs are there in the college conducted by students

Admission

I chose this college over other colleges i applied to were because not many colleges offered this course and i needed to join a college in my hometown and i was recommended this college by few alumni of this college. Eligibility of this requires you to have a science background (Bio-scienc) and percentage about 60%. This college is a self financing college so you can directly get admission through management quota

Faculty

Faculty members are friendly and Knowledgeable in their respective fields. We maintan a good faculty to student relationship. I like pretty much all teachers of our department they are very Approachable. Exams and test paper are conducted very frequently and model test is conducted before every semister exams

Night Life

Time duration of college is from 9.30am to 3.30pm and you do not have permission to stay in the college premises after 4.00pm so college does not have a nightlife. College doesn't have gym or a proper functioning cafeteria but now new buildings are under construction so hopefully in a few years college will be having these facilities in the future.

The college has a cell called placement cell from where we get notified about the recruitments , the college supports placements but it also depends on your performance too. companies like accenture came.the last two years our department had 100% placement.

Honest review about SH college: academic, campus and beyond

Placement Experience:

Placements at Sacred Heart College are quite promising and focus on equipping the student with the skill set for employment. Normally, a candidate may get eligible for campus placement after fifth semester , course-wise. Several reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment, such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, etc.and offer roles in data analyst, software developer, marketing associate, etc.The highest package in recent years has been around ?10 LPA, while the average package ranges between ?3-5 LPA, depending on the company and job profile. About 80% of the students get campus placements, and others go for higher studies or start entrepreneurship. In case campus placement is not available for specific programs, the college facilitates career counseling and internships and provides skill development programs to improve employability. After my graduation, I would like to go for higher studies, a specific industry, business, etc. using the knowledge and experience acquired at Sacred Heart College.

I chose this coarse because i love geography. But it was not as same as i learnt in my higher secondary. Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose geography for my graduation because of it was a rare course and only provided by three govt college in Calicut University. It is a good course and it's sub disciplines are very nice to connect with others. Frequency of exams are based on the time duration of finishing the semesters. Usually it's two sem exams in a year and with some other reasons it may get delayed. In course of three years all 6 semesters and it's exams along with project and practical will be finished. Field trip is the main attraction of the course.

This college is not that far from my place and it's so easy to come and go daily. And also it's a good campus and the collge is having a good education system's and also i got suggestion to take this college. This is the 1st option i give during the course registration. In the trail i got another college with other course and in the 1st allotment i got this course in the college which got it trail i just visited the college for 1 day. And after that in 3nd allotment got the same option no changes so i become a little abset that that college is so far and other things but in third allotment got the first option that i really not expected. Because they some peoples say that there is not a high chance to change option in third allotment and other things. I give one college which is aided and everyone know there is low possible to get admission or allotment in that college. In our college there is first the admission process the students who is not give college allotment they want to take admission by management.but after admission all of them want to pay same fees for the semester fee...Read More
