This is the greatest campus for getting job after completing your course. Job opportunities is great. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Facebook etc came here. For 2014 batch, the highest package, offered to a student stands at around ?9 million from Goog

Entrance Preview

I took JAM entrance test, and get 68% in this entrance exam.Than I make counselling and try to getting admission in some IIT. But as I am from WEST BENGAL, so I choose IIT KHARAGPUR.

Internships Opportunities

Yes college provides internship for some selected students in some companies like T.C.S. , IT SECTOR, etc. They get stipend about 15000/- per month.But I don't get this chance.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel are good in condition. Rooms are clean and in one room maximum two candidates can stay. Hostel are available for merely all students. And about food quality , it's good and cheap. In case of PG'S the average rental which need to be paid is normal(

The Faculty members are really very good, friendly, and highly educated. They teach students very carefully. All faculty members are Ph.D holders and some of the are FRS in USA, ITALY etc. They are very careful about students future and give inspiration,

Other colleges I applied for is IIT Delhi because it is nearer to my home and is well reputed college and have a great field in Tech.I opt this college because I am interested in Tech field. I finally chose IIT KGP beacuse it is providing me better branch than IIT Delhi and I got interested in this college beacuse my teacher in myh senior schoo is also from IIT KGP they taught me a lot of stories of there college time and I talked to some seniors of college for admissionb regarding prespective so they advised for IIT KGP.Therefore I chose IIT KGP over IIT Delhi.
