Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of our college was good, it covers the prospect of all the management syllabus. They offered various specialized areas and I opted for Human Resource Management as my specialized area.

Placement Experience

The placement was good in our college and a number of companies visited our college for placement for campus recruitment. The highest salary package offered was Rs.15.6 LPA and the average was Rs.7 LPA.

College Events

Our college celebrated various events and one of them is the sports events named 'Magnus', in these sports events, different types of games were organized and it was very fun. They also organized management fest, technical fest, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

If I remember it correctly, I think our college offers two types of scholarships. One of the scholarships was the merit-cum-means scholarships, in which students who have score 60% or above in the entrance exam can avail up to 40% of tuition fees.

Hostel Facilities

Our college provides hostels for boys and girls separately. The infrastructure of our hostels was good and well facilitated, the rooms were spacious and Air-conditioned with bathroom attached. Also wifi, laundry machines, common room, etc.were provided.

Admission

The admission was done on the basis of the CAT entrance exam and then, I fill out the form online and after a few days, my application was shortlisted and I went through a personal interview. The admission process was pretty smooth.

Faculty

The faculty member of our college was the best, they were qualified enough in their own field of education. They are experienced professors and most of them hold a doctorate degree. They are alumni of reputed universities and foreign universities.

Placement Experience:

GLIM Placements start from the beginning of 2nd year as till then we are also done with our intenrships. Also, placements here are lesser than that of Chennai but still median of GLIM is around 15 lakhs which is much better than other B-Schools of NCR.

Remarks:

The college is excellent. The college is only 11 year old. According to me it will take more time to enter elite college list. IIM Rohtak has NIRF ranking of 23, which is far better than older established colleges. This is a positive sign and I am sure college will grow in leaps and bounds in coming years.

Remarks:

First thing is that it's not just a college, it's a govt. University which affiliates many other colleges in the state, it provides more than 80 type of courses, it have a vast area campus of around 600 acres with many departments and around 3 auditoriums. It is one of the top most Universities of Haryana.

The good thing about this college are the activities that take place every Saturday, which is quite interesting and knowledgeable. The bad thing about the college is that the departments are divided on the basis of their courses so the students do not gather as a whole bunch of college.

JGU is delightful place!!

JSAT is mandatory to get admission in JGU. For Arts courses be if Economics, Political Science or any others, one also has to clear the interview rounds as well. So admission may take a while before you are confirmed for admission. JGU can make anyone jealous!!

I got confirm admission only from MNLU Nagpur but our college JGLS is much better than it in many sense. JGU is an event hosting place!!

Ashoka University again and also MCC Bangalore as these are some of th colleges that offers this particular course. I think did best by ditching the rest two as MCC may be an old college but JGU still I feel is the best out of all. JGU is one hell of a place!!

I had admissions at Ashoka University which is also in Sonepat. I gave JSAt and since I had confirmed admission from both, I looked at the other aspects of both the universities. Ashoka definitely more premium but is a relatively new university while ours has a pedigree of its own. Also the fees structure as Ashoka University fees was 25 lakhs a year while at JGU it's 6 lakhs a year....Read More

O.P. Jindal University is Supreme!!

JSAT is mandatory and only 60 seats for our course which is divided in 2 sections. I have given the same and cleared the same. The entrance is little tough and fees for the entrance is 12000.
