Remarks

My experience in college was good. Many new things i have learned and i would say i m satisfied with my college. All is good faculty fee structure, course structure all is good. Cultural programs are also held which is very enhancing.

Course Curriculum Overview

Cousre structure is good.IGNOU focus on all subjects and provide deep knowledge to the students as it required to make an assignment which enhance the knowledge of students.I am satisfied with this university.We have to give exams yearly same pattern as other universities.

Placement Experience

Actually this is a open university and i m doing CA with this so i have not required placement after bcom only.But as we heard yes this university provides placement and job opportunities.As far i know stipend is not given by this university.

College Events

Yes many cultural events takes place all over india.Conferences are also held regulary and convention programs also takes place every year.Actually, i m not able to participate because of my CA but as far i know this is all about.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very feasible.Anyone can afford it with better study and education.We can easily persue any course with minimum cost.In bcom also total bcom fee for three years is to be only 6000-8000 approximately.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes many scholarships are being provided by the college for different classes of students like disabled person or secured merit or many more.I dont have much knowledge about it as i m not availed any scholarship.

Campus Life

Yes it is well structured with many activities held every year.Seminars are also held in different cities on regular basis.Proper orientation is to be done and there is no tolerance with regards to gender, ethinicity, race,religion and all

Hostel Facilities

No i have not opted for any hostel as i said this is the open university and its head office is in delhi but i m persuing it from agra where it has a regional centre.My home town is also agra so i dont require any hostel.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Actually in open university we have no interaction with senior students as there are no regular classes for us to study so if i talk about experince with seniors then it is not that much interactive.We have our own groups only.

Admission

In IGNOU doing bcom is little different from other college.In this we have to make assignments of all subjects and submit it to the regional centre.After submission of assignment we can give exams accordingly.

Faculty

Yes, if we talk about faculty then it is good.It provides us study material and classes also taken place if we have any problem we can contact with our faculty.We have conference also and we can take help of faculty to make our assignment

Overall College life experience.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

Placement Experience:

SSNC have a placement cell which provides internship details and also shat company hiring details. 3rd and 4th semester students are eligible for internship Highest average package is approx 12 LPA and average price is approx 5LPA and actually I don't know which company give the highest and to whom.

Students get placements in the last semester before the last exams as per my knowledge the average package is 4 to 5 lpa and highest package was 15lpa . Not all the students get placed from the college only the one's with good skills and some experience about the work are chosen.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

All about Distance study in Ignou

Literally I dont have that much idea about private distance colleges that time And i heard about Ignou that its certificate is valid. If you want to take admission in ignou you need visit their website there are two admission session one is July and another is January. you have to fill application form then submit all required documents .pay the yearly fee and they will send you confirmation mail and classes link. IGNOU. Its really a good head-ache now, i am in last semester but frustrated from the process. None of the faculty member from your regional center as well as study centre will help you to answer yours queries. You have to suppose everything at your own and act accordingly. If you ask anything regarding your assignment submission as well as lab courses, your study centre will simply say to ask it from regional centre. And our great regional centres Coming to projects, sometimes in viva they will say reply should be like this. Next time when you will submit the report as per instruction, some other superintendent will be there to reject it again and to instruct to format it as it was earlier. You will feel like servants working for them.IGNOU University and topped in my Study Center. In my point of view, IGNOU has good study material and if we study it well (in detail) then we can easily get good marks.
