Remarks

IGNOU. Its really a good head-ache now, i am in last semester but frustrated from the process. None of the faculty member from your regional center as well as study centre will help you to answer yours queries. You have to suppose everything at your own and act accordingly. If you ask anything regarding your assignment submission as well as lab courses, your study centre will simply say to ask it from regional centre. And our great regional centres Coming to projects, sometimes in viva they will say reply should be like this. Next time when you will submit the report as per instruction, some other superintendent will be there to reject it again and to instruct to format it as it was earlier. You will feel like servants working for them.IGNOU University and topped in my Study Center. In my point of view, IGNOU has good study material and if we study it well (in detail) then we can easily get good marks. You have to dedicate 5–6 hours daily and finish your syllabus on time, submit your.

SRCC has one of the best campuses and our basketball court is so famous that many movies too have been promoted and shot there. Our campus is big too and our auditorium is such that many top personalities have come and spoken there. Even leaders like Barrack Obama too had an interaction with SRCC students in an open air event.

Campus placements are available for all semesters but the offers are more the students in third year. The offers came form many reputed companies like Deloitte, EY, NSDC and more. The highest packages offered were 24 LPA. Almost 75 to 80 percent students got the campus placement. I did not sit for the placement as I was beginning my preparation for UPSC.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For psychology everything is good, the course the topics everything is very real world applications based. However there is less scope for it in india but in abroad one can do well. I really like learning about mental disorders, they open a new world to me and a better understanding of the people with disabilities. For Areas of improvement all i can suggest is giving lesser readings, since there is a lot of readings to cover it becomes a headache for some students. Also there shoulf be more practical based subjects rather thsn just theory ones.

The course curriculum I took is okay considering the low placement percentage from the college's side which is I would say sometimes bad and good at the same time as the students can find their own way around such things. Faculty just complete the topics. we have to study ourselves.

The placement cell of my college is very active. They hold internships round the year and provide reliable placement at the end of last year. Placement mainly depends upon per student skill rather than the course variability and considering most of the humanities courses are less employable if taken only on the basis of course. However skills are the main deciding factor
