Remarks

College is pretty good but all the rooms can be ac rooms and the boys' toilet can be taken care of more. I hope college looks into these matters and solve these as soon as possible. Air conditioning is not a luxury but a basic necessity these days.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is a bit old but still there a lot of decent learning curve. We have two class tests now it has been changed to 4 class tests where average of the four tests is considered as the internal marks and then we have an end semester exam for every subjects. The semester exams are generally held twice a year.

Placement Experience

4

In case of computer science and engineering, students will get ample placement opportunities through on, off and pool campusing. So it is nothing to worry about really. My experience in campusing was pretty straight forward. Had given interviews for two companies only. Got selected in one. So pretty okay.

College Events

4

Our college celebrates inter college sports event, photography contests, paper publishing contests, tech fest named pragati, the college fest named Utopia. Then there are a lot of departmental contests like quiz contests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible. Yearly it costs around 80-84,000 so it is on the affordable side. Still if someone's family's income is below 2 Lpa then they have to pay only 5000 per 6 months which is a lot lesser according to the govt. of India.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there is scholarship for the beginning semester. I'm not quite aware of any loan facility offered by college but students can easily apply for loan from local banks as the college is well known and popular.

Campus Life

3.5

The lab infrastructure is pretty good with helping lab assistants. The labs are air conditioned and devices are taken care of properly. there is a no shoe policy inside the computer labs which is worth noting. Also sports is encouraged. Our college hails badminton, cricket, football, table tennis, carrom and basketball tournaments.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I have not opted for a hostel. I've always been a day scholar. So I can not tell much but as much as I know or have heard from students living in hostels that girls have their hostels inside the college campus and it covers all the basic amenities whole boys' hostel is in the nearby town.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is not that strong. We have rarely seen alumni meet happening in college. Maybe during the fest some people come. The seniors are helpful at most of the times. Bullying is strictly not encouraged in college so the attitude towards seniors are usually positive.

Admission

I took WBJEE and secured a rank which was enough for my admission in my chosen stream which is computer science and engineering. I have always been interested in coding and computing in general, also I liked maths. So CSE was the best choice for me.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of my college is really helping, always encouraging us to learn new things, take care of us, properly groom us so that we can fit the corporate environment correctly. The facilities are well informed about their subjects. I think I've come across one of the best professors in my college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else
