Faculties are very good, who help us at every moment
Has very well experience to handle new students.
Every teacher always tried to help us by teaching at their extreme.

Dislikes

College campus is very small compared to every college in my locality.
No playing gound is available in our campus.
It was boring to attend the late afternoon classes as the time of every class very long and we don't have the energy left to attend tha classes attentively.

Course Curriculum Overview

The list of course to be taught in the year is circulated and all the full time faculty say what they would like to teach for the year. The chair of discipline than tries to make as many people happy as possible. Than settles all the problems that rise: no one to teach some things, too many people want the same things, balance of workload is too unequitable.

Campus Life

Wake up early (6-ish) for PT/Yoga (in some year eventually, if not now, they won't let you graduate without this! and FYI, the attendance rules get harder once you gain seniority) The rest of the day is usually spent in classes/labs and the evenings - coding for assignments, struggling to get your programs through the internal SPOJ style evaluation portal, within the deadline. If there's any time left, you take a break from being an awesome programmer to study for other courses/other assignments. The whole year is pretty much classes, followed by assignments, deadlines, midsems and endsems. You get some breathing space occasionally for a few days. It's otherwise hectic though

Admission

Tha admission is very good. According to my experience the admission procedure is well organised and obeyed step by step The college application cell helps us much to determine our course in the their college. And the cut off marks is reachable. At first we have to get application form and submit it to the admission cell. And then we can get our admission done by registering on the forms given by the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

From fifth semester you are eligible for the intership . And from seventh semester you are eligible for the placement. Many companies visited our college such as TCS , IBM ,COGIZINANT, amd many more . The highest package is around 15 lpa and the average package is 4 - 5 lpa . The placement ratio is around 80 - 85 %

MY JOURNEY IN TECHNO MAIN SALT LAKE

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Infosys,TCS digital,TCS prime, Oracle, Cognizent etc companies visited in our college for placement. Highest package of our college is 18 lpa and average package of our college is 5lpa and the lowest package of our college is 3lpa. 70% of students are getting placemnet.after getting degree i should prefer job rather than higher studies.

Our clg is really soo good. And our ece department is really soo good teacher are also friendly

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

MCKVIE, a good college for its price

I applied for admission in many colleges like Siliguri Institute of technology, Heritage Institute of technology, Techno Main Salt Lake, Calcutta Institute of Engineering and management. (Through management quota) From the above, I got a confirmed admission in CIEM(Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management) but i later opted for WBJEE Counseling to try my luck there. I put many colleges in My WBJEE preference list. It's very fortunate that I found out about MCKVIE at the last moment as it was a very good college considering its low price. From the colleges that i opted for both in counseling and management quota... most colleges were too expensive for me, or i was not able to get the desired course. MCKVIE was very suitable as I got CSE with a semester-wise tuition fees of around 55k. The admission process of my college was fairly systematic, I got Core CSE through WBJEE Counseling and got my seat throught WBJEE+JEE Rank. Overall admission experience was a bit lengthy process because it involved the Counseling procedures, but it was smooth and the officials were helpful and well prepared for all kinds of inconveniences...Read More
