I love my university as it is one of the best universities in the city. We are provided with a lot of opportunities and get a lot of exposure. We are sent for internships to different states for the enormous exposure and experience. Our university has a good ambience to make us feel like home.

This course is very light and comfortable to deal with because the love I have for chemistry. The exams are taken on time and there is a strict procedure which is followed. The examinations are taken with an interval of one day and we're given a study leave for 15-20 days. The practicals are very technical and we are taught by very learned professors.

Our course is a very rare course all over India. Our university is a very well known university and our professors are very qualified with extremely good networks and connections with different companies. The companies which come for hiring are ONGC, JK Tyres and Reliance. They have a very good stipend. The stipend is around 10-15k.

Our university is a rich cultural institution. We have been celebrating different festivities and management events throughout the year. The events include holi, saraswati puja, tech fests, reunion, hult prize, white collar and other various events.

As our university is a government institution so the fee structure is as low as 3622 for engineering course and around this amount for other courses as well. The admission fees is 5. 7k which is a very minimum amount for pursuing engineering.

Our university offers scholarships such as kanyashree and swami vivekananda student scholarship. The scholarships for engineering course is 5000 per month and for students of B. Sc B. Tech, the sum is more than the normal course.

We have different extra curricular activities for each department. The political status is very nominal. They have no particular exercise over our university. There is complete tolerance on gender and religion. Our university is very tolerant towards all sexual orientation and it is pretty normal for us. We have different workshops arranged for us for a better learning and having a good hold of different issues.

Our professors are well dignified and respected throught the city. They have extremely good network and connections. They are extremely helpful and generous. Our seniors are very friendly with the juniors and there is no gap. Our professors look to what is best for the students and go to any extent to provide us with good jobs.

Firstly, I had to give my West Bengal Joint entrance examination for engineering. I ranked 20800. I never thought I'll get to pursue engineering with this rank. But I was lucky enough to get a spot counselling of this famous university and got admitted in the polymer science and Technology department. In spot counselling, preference is according to rank. The preferred rank can choose his/her department. After that they have to print the form with the asked details. Marksheets of 10 and 12 are required during admission. I chose this course over others because this course is really rare. I would really get more opportunities because of less competition. Also, because I love chemistry.

Our faculty members are extremely well learned and qualified. They have all done their post doctorate from very well known universities. They are very well behaved and teach us in a very friendly manner. They encourage us to ask questions. The professors maintain a friendly relationship with the students.
