Remarks

My college are really good. Though it has a very small campus as a college should have but trust it doesn't effect you as much. Faculties, seniors, guards all are really good, helpful. Canteen are always clean, foods are tasty.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is not that much hard. We will be able to understand things easily. In college, we have 2 semesters in one year. Exam structure makes things easier for students to prepare for exam.

Placement Experience

In my college, placements are very good, around 115 students grab their placement for above 4.5lac/year. Our college provides internship too. Some of the students got placed in a giant company called Accenture bags a great package of 6.5lac/year

College Events

We have many events that we celebrate every year. We have a technical fest called krianj, which is organized every year in the month of January or February, we have another cultural festival called navodaya, celebrated every year in the month of may, we have a fresher party event for welcoming freshers.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible, we have to pay 4.1 lac for whole B.Tech , nearly 45k per semester. You can pay through demand letter or via educational loan too. Though it is the most expensive private college in the West Bengal, but I think it's feasible

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college didn't offer any type of scholarship, though you can pay your tuition via educational loan facility. For this you have to go to a bank and apply there for your educational loan purpose and the college provides you the required documents you need

Campus Life

In our college we have many society for extracurricular activities, such as a sports society, we have a drama society, we have a dance societyn, we have a poet Society. There are different teams for different sports such as a different team for Cricket, a different team for volleyball etc

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are really good in my college. They help you wherever you need their help. They help you in study, they guide you to follow your goal, dreams. Alumni network are good at my college, alumni often comes to our college to give lessons to the students on how to grab a college, they tell us to do those things which helps you to grab a job.

Admission

I have got admission through an entrance exam WBJEE. After result, we have to go through counselling process in which we have to choose our desired college and desired stream in which we want to pursue our education. After the first merit list comes in counseling process, we have to do verification of our documents, then we should wait till the end of counselling process, to get a college for admission. Then after we have to go to the college for admission.

Some faculties of my college are very good in teaching and have a good personality too. But there are few too who didn't know how to teach, they are not good at teaching. Faculties help us in every field wherever we need their help, they make things easier for us, they guide us to our goal.

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

Its our lovely college TIU

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

The College Life in Burdwan

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Experienced Faculty-students often appreciate a good blend of practical and theoretical knowledge.Faculty members in some department are often known for thier excelence knowledge and experience
Excelent Campus-techno india university has a large campus with excelent facilities such as libraries,labs,seminar halls etc. Some students finds this facilitries useful
Funs and Events-techno india university provides a vibrant campus life with events that span a wide range of interests

Dislikes

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved
Placement-techno india university does prepares thier students for placement they only give them the opportunity

Placement Experience:

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Likes

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.
Environment is very good. And have a natural's beauty

Dislikes

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

The Most Detailed Review of Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata

There are 3 ways of getting into the college that I am aware of : WBJEE Counselling, Management Quota and Lateral Entry (Thru JELET, for students with a diploma). The lateral entry gives you admission in the second year if you have a valid diploma and appear for the JELET exam. Since i am a regular admission student, i will talk about the first two methods only. There is an exam called West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) which follows the same syllabus as JEE but with a different pattern of paper. If you get a decent rank, you will be alloted this college in the counselling process. If you have a bad score in your JEE exam and you didn't appear for WBJEE exam then you will have to go to the management quota route. You have to pay an additional amount of 2-6 lakhs (depending on the demand, branch and intake of students) on the top of the total fees. My advice is that if you can afford to pay that extra money then go to Heritage Institute of Technology cause they have better placement and location. If you decide through counselling than Narula should be one of your priorities. The overall admission process is the same in all other colleges because they admission is conducted through WBJEE counselling and not the college itself. If you live far away then it may be a problem for you because you will need to come to the college for registration and stuff for atleast 3 times within the span of 2 weeks. My priority list of WBJEE counselling also had Haldia Institute of Tech, Heritage Institute of Tech, Techno Main SaltLake, Academy of Tech, and Narula. My rank was 29k so i was getting Cybersecurity in Haldia, CSBS in Tech Main, CBSC in AOT and IT in Narula. So I chose Narula out of the available options because i didnt want to take any specilisation branch. In 2024, the closing rank of IT in Narula was around 58k in the mop up round (third round).
