A journey worth sharing

College is quite good. Standard college with standard infrastructure. Good placement opportunities as it is under Techno India group which is very good engineering group of colleges in Kolkata. Only thing is it would be much better if single campussing is held in the college rather than pool campussing of all colleges under Techno India group.

Course curriculum is really good but needs to be modernised a bit specially in the field of computer science. Subjects like artificial intelligence, big data, machine learning, latest databases needs to be included. And subjects like physics, chemistry, electronics needs to be omitted. Early two semesters for four consecutive years.

Placements are quite good going by the state standards. Almost everyone is placed in good multinational companies with standard packages. Core companies also hire students from core branches like civil mechanical and electrical.

Yearly cultural fest are organized Yearly freshers party is organized. And most importantly yearly a tech fest is organized which is very famous in the city of Kolkata. In the tech fest events like coding, ha kathin, Robotics, bot events etc are held.

Fees structure is fixed by the West Bengal board of education. Its 40000 rupees per semester. For economically backwards students as well as for minority students the government fixed the fee as 20000 per semester.

Good scholarship is provided by the West Bengal government but not by the college. West bengal government even provides scholarship for poor students whose parents annual income is less than the taxable limit. Education Loan facility is provided by almost all the available banks very easily.

Cricket, football tournaments are held yearly but due to the lack of any ground inside the college campus daily extra curricular activities is nil. There is a common room only where students can play carrom and table tennis, cards etc i.e indoor games.

Since our college is not so old, a newly alumni group has been formed and yearly an event has been planned for the alumni meet. The training and placement officer in charge of our college has been given the responsibility to organize the alumni meet.

After giving West Bengal joint entrance examination, an online counselling process was held by the University board and got this college in that counselling process. After that had to go to this college physically, pay the admission fees then got admitted to this college and chose the course class computer science and engineering.

Standard and helpful. Knowledgeable according to the curriculum. Very helpful and always approachable if the students face any problems. Very supportive and teaching standard is quite good. Some teachers are not upto the mark though but most are okay.
