Remarks

Nothing, college is best in every aspect, little bit of problems are everywhere, but these are manageable. Everything is well defined and clear, their is no substitute for this college. All the people work together here for the students and future.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Curriculum is very well defined and is suitable for the task and profile we are preparing for. Every subject is prepared according to the need for the job profile and knowledge related to it.Exam structure is nice and comprehensive, focusing more on knowledge than the completion of syllabus.

Placement Experience

5

Well, my college is known for it's placement and internship records. Due to amazing relationship between teacher and student and proper knowledge of all the subjects, the students from my college are preferred by companies and hence the college has placement record of 90%. Internship is compulsory in last semester and stipend is varied according to the company.

College Events

4

We have various events that happens all over the term. We are divided into houses or squadron.Starting by March past and drama event to open the house events, followed by freshers cup, for the newly joined people. These included basketball, TT, football, khokho, athletic, etc. Then house events happen all year with events like squash, foosball, marathons, etc. At the end of academic year , we have a big fest called horizon, where houses participate in different cultural and stage events to win the trophy of fest and and overall winner.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is actually expensive though, it is roughly 2 lacs per semester due to need of the course. The fees but also includes, food, hostel, messing, uniform, books, shoes, stationary and everything basic required by a student.

Fees and Financial Aid

Their are various scholarships provided by college, one is for girls, other is for low income students, also their is a rank list generated in which top 35 get a scholarship starting from 35,000 till 10,000 rupees. Also scholarship are provided by various visiting companies according to previous nd current track records.

Campus Life

5

These are very well maintained, labs have very well maintained and exhaustive equipment, which a person may not find in any similar college, all the equipment and machine are provided according to future needs. Their are lot of extracurricular activities to take part in. Starting from clubs and gym to sports and swimming, everything is well defined.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel is compulsory for our course. Hostel infrastructure is nice and we'll maintained. Their is good housekeeping services providing clean washrooms, water cooler are provided at every corridor. Rooms are big and airy, beds are comfortable and all the rooms are well maintained, mess is provided inside hostel only which serves well and food is nutritious.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are the building of this college, their is always a mentorship approach between senior and junior, juniors are trained by their senior on various aspects of life and other stuff which may come handy in future. Their is more professional relationship rather than informal one. These people are helpful.

Admission

Firstly we applied for college entrance. Their was a interview and a computer exam on the test center where interview was taking place by the institute. After that we gave a exam for IMU-CET for the university entrance. After clearing all the short list a proper medical was done.

Faculty

5

The faculty is world class, they know what the students need to know and how to deliver their message. The are crisp and energetic and always by the side of students. Faculty are very open to the student community and can be easily accessible anytime. They are always ready to impart knowledge more than the classroom courses.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
