Remarks

College can be recommended to others but the only thing is it lacks campus, provides equal opportunities to the students and a student can make the maximum utilization of the opportunities that are provided by the college

Course is handled greatly and the college now has been affiliated to NBA that is national board of accreditation. The college has semester scheme examination, that is each year has 2 semesters. The marks is evaluated by the VTU. The college provides various other activities to take part in

Placements are quite good compared to other colleges. Many of my seniors have been placed and many companies are still coming for the placements. Students followed by the criteria of the company can attend the placement selection process

Ganesh utsav is celebrated after the ganesh festival, Karnataka rajyotsava, And the college fest Manthan celebrated every year very grandly, many number of events related to different clubs are celebrated and sports like kabbadi, cricket is held and annual sports day is celebrated

The college fee is manageable not so high neither less, if you or on a government quota there is no worry about the fees as you have to pay only the college fees and the examination fees is also less, the college doesn't take money out of students miscellaneously

The college doesn't provide any scholarship to the students, but it has a seperate scholarship section to handle various scholarship of the students that are provided by the government and any other scholarships.

Lab equipments are maintained well. Bit old, but doesn't matter however. Various sports like kabbad, cricket, badminton, basketball and many other sports are organized. An annual sports day is conducted

Our college had a wide alumni network. It is helpful as it provides an interactive session and provides various opportunities for the students to know about seniors. The alumni meet is also conducted at regular time intervals and various other programs are conducted by the alumni Association

Admission

I got admission to this college by the pgcet entrance examination conducted by Karnataka examination authority and the admission is done based on the ranks scored. If you get a rank around 1k in the examination then you can easily get into the college

Faculty

College faculties are extremely good. They help you with all your doubts and the syllabus is done without any problems. They actually help the students in understanding concepts and remedial classes will also be taken for the students who are in need of it

A good start for career growth

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are average. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 2nd semester. Some companies visit the college and offer jobs in different roles. The average package is around 3-4 LPA and the highest package depends on the company. After completing my degree, I plan to get a good job and gain experience in my field

Placement Experience:

Students were allowed for placement from the final year. Only a few firms came and offers were limited. Avg pay was low and not many got placed. After MCA , my plan was to look for roles in tech and grow my skills.

An amazing college experience that shaped my future

I applied to several college including R V college of engineering N.I.E college of engineering and Dayanand sagar college of engineering.I received confirmed admission offers from Dayanand college of engineering in the first KCET round but I chose my college that is BIT because of its excellent academic environment and placements opportunity.I applied to this college had a more student freindly atmosphere better industry connection more extra curiculum activities and no ragging in the campus.I did't get RV college because cutoff for my desereved branch was quite high and entrance exam score is below their requirements.The admission process for my college was quit straigth forward.Admission process based on KCET or COMED-k.The process was transparent and well managed.After document verification and fee payment I recevied my official admission order.Overall experience is smooth and hassle free....Read More
